Jill's Story:
"You wanted to see us, O'Brian?" Jill Valentine, a top and founding member of the BSAA, said as she was joined by Parker and Jessica, two agents of the BSAA.
Director O'Brian was the current commander-in-chief of the BSAA, a tough old bird who got the job done no matter what. "Several of our satellites have picked up anomalies of non-human origin in multiple areas of the globe." A world map appeared in the control room's main screen. "Siberia, the Yukon, the Argentinian Patagonia and the Himalayas."
"Non-human?" Parker asked.
"Yes, from what the scans could tell there were life-signs, but of non-human nature. Possibly a new virus strain purposely placed on key areas of the world for propagation." O'Brian explained. "The UN has already asked us to investigate these events. Parker, you and Jessica investigate the Patagonia, Jill you will go to Yukon, find out what we are dealing with."
"What about Chris, sir?" Jill asked the director.
"He has his own mission at the moment, he will join you when he is done with it." O'Brian said, "All right, you know your missions. Go."
On the way towards the Canadian Yukon, Jill had taken her usual loadout: a Colt 1911, an MP7 and two frag grenades. And for protection, a kevlar jacket underneath thermal clothing for the northern Canadian winter. The helicopter had taken off from Anchorage, Alaska and was already nearing the previous known location of the target. The chopper approached an abandoned coal town, it had almost been retaken by the frigid Yukon snow.
The chopper hovered 6 feet over the town center, Jill jumped off. "Remember, this is a scouting run, find out if we are dealing with an isolated terrorist cell or worse, a new terrorist organization." O'Brian told her through the radio.
"Will do." Jill replied taking out her pistol and watched the chopper leaving the area. She walked through the snowy town, it was cold, she could feel the tip of her nose freezing. Nevertheless she continued, checked every building that hadn't been crushed by glacier for any threats. Nothing. Then she spotted the town mine, it hadn't been closed or something.
She approached it and saw several non-human hand prints, Jill took out her Genesis-scanner device and scanned the handprints. The device scanned it and gave the results...unknown. It definitely was something that Jill and the BSAA had never cataloged before. If she was to find out what it was then she needed to enter the dark mine, Jill had been in worse situations before, a cave wouldn't scare her now.
Turning on her flashlight, she proceeded to enter the mine. But on her way inside, she failed to notice the crashed alien life pod buried beneath the Canadian snow.
