I can list some:
Halo: Combat Evolved Half-Life Mass Effect Metal Gear Solid 1-4 Bomberman Resident Evil
1) Congrats on being one of the only people to stay on topic ITT. 2) >considering MGS4 one of the best games of all time Don't insult me 3) Haven't played Bomberman or RE. 4) Notice how this list doesn't even have 10 games on it? There's definitely room for TLOU. I'm not saying TLOU is top 10 ever, but I'm saying it's at least top 30-50. Which is quite good, considering how many games are released a year.
Its definitely in my top 100.
MGS4 or TLOU?
Both.
At least tell me you think TLOU is better than MGS4.
Sorry, MGS4 is still the superior game because Snake.
MGS4 is an awful Metal Gear, though. I mean, my namesake is Snake, so rarely do you find someone who matches my love for the character. But MGS4 as whole kinda ruins the SS character for me, and completely SHITS on my favourite game in the franchise by ruining it's ending (MGS2).
I do like MGS2 a lot more tho
Good. There may be a hope for you, yet.

Something you want to tell us, Snake?

Halo CE and Halo 3 ODST are the greatest games of all time.
Halo CE deserves to be on anyone's list of GsOAT. Not so much ODST, as it was more a cash-in (a good one, at that) and a way for Bungie to get away without making a sequel to 3.
CE is an instant classic. Anyone who says otherwise has gone incoherent.
I still found ODST to be one of my favorite games despite it being more or less a cash grab. Oh man, that soundtrack and story.
What surprises me about CE is that when I go back and play it, it's still incredibly fun. But when I got back and play Halo 2 or 3, it's a bit more of a chore (not so much Halo 2 as 3. 3 is god-awful in comparison.) You're right. "Instant classic" is the perfect way to describe it.
I've actually never beaten H3ODST. I just got bored from not knowing where to go. I'm waiting for it to come to Xbox One so I can enjoy it a bit more and perhaps play it with some veterans.
Except that Halo 3 was an amazing game.
Ehh... my main issue with it (from a multiplayer perspective) is that it feels so clunky, floaty, and slow. At least in H2 or CE your speed felt adequate for bullet time and map size. Halo 3's just feels off.
Halo 2 was literally dildos compared to Halo 3

Jill continued to fire her pistol until it ran out of ammo and switched to her SMG, she fired it. Taking down several of those monsters down, "Keep firing!"

No, this is not a hate thread to a religion. Its more of a question.
A really long time ago, Muslims had this little empire...actually huge empire. It was massive, bigger than Alexander's Empire and the Roman Empire. It was one of the greatest empires in human history for their innovations in SCIENCE, MATH, ASTRONOMY, COMMERCE AND ECONOMY, ART, and a lot of more awesome shit. They were really open minded too, they accepted and allowed anyone to practice or not practice any religion they wanted.
So here's the question, how did a people influenced by this religion, Islam, get downgraded so much into mindless religious fanatics that would kill you just because you pulled a funny?
One answer, Genghis Khan. You know he wiped out all of Islams city, killed and empty huge cities and actually destroyed huge cultural and educational facilities.
Hell it was said the river near Baghdad was dyed black with the number of books that were destroyed by the horde.
But didn't most of the Mongols converted into Islam? And wasn't the Ottoman Empire actually pretty good?
I will explain i got to go to work so will explain later.
Alright.
Basically the places that the source of education mainly the whole libraries were burnt down. Now that is bad because all that was left was the military strength of the Mamluks down in Egypt, and the Seljuk Turks. Remember these groups did not have big libaries and educational facilities those were in Spain where the Muslims were being pushed back. The Seljuk and the Mamluks were military based nations with little interest in education and most of the middle east fell in to darkness as theories that the muslims arrogance became their undoing and god sent Genghis as punishment. Thus education was sent as a back burner and religious preaching was pushed.
Sad but the Seljuks were later removed by the Ottomon who although fought wars were not big on education. They started but remember religious beliefs still maintained. They were busy managing many tribes of former muslim lands that were warring and honestly with no strong funding for educational facilities but huge funding for their war machine slowed their progress down.
The mongols well some converted to islam but by the time they did well all books and theories were burnt, remember that one scientist who survived only got his funding because he gave the excuse that he was studying the stars for mystical reasons and the general was okay with that.
A better reasoning is that the countless troves of knowledge that were locked in those books that were destroyed could not be replaced. Why? Because the printing press had not been received in the middle east due to the complications in how to print in arabic which was different from latin based writing. Thus not enough copies were distributed and no one could start back from where they left off. The Italians were able to take advantage of that and were able to excel. Second problem superstition as i mentioned before was a big issue. But mostly in the arab world the nations that came back were small and weak and did not have the stability to start progress. Immediately conquered by the Ottomans after the Mongols strength withered the region was plagued with scars of war for centuries. Hell the Mughals who trace themselves to the Mongols were busy trying to maintain control over India where they had to appease the Princes and keep them from rebelling.
Honestly if Spain did not fall then maybe you may have seen muslims still leading the way in science. But the lack of ability to distribute knowledge and increasing superstition caused alot of problems. Plus the constant war after the fall of the last Caliphate.
Also the Mongols never considered education important actually it was considered a stupid thing to them and a waste of time. Truth be told the Mongols were brutal and unlike many revisionist nowadays were known for killing millions and raping millions. Hell they even killed those who surrendered later on when they met again. They may have been smart in war but their brutality was horrible. Also they basically used their opponents who they defeated as cannon fodder to take majority of the losses until they went into battle. Funny thing is one of the cities that had created many great minds during those times was destroyed. It went from a population of more than a million people to now, just over 300,000 people.
Yeah, fuck the Mongols.

My mom would keep saying the same thing to me for years. She used to hate video games until I started taking an interest in game development.
That's really cool that she stopped doing that.
