If you are using OS X to work with audio editing then I'd suggest GarageBand. If you are on Windows... No clue. Since you are learning the hard way, then keep in mind that you should watch some great machinima, and understand what went into them, and what elements make them great before proceeding making your own.
Yea I'm a big fan of Ross Scott's stuff like Civil Protection and all that stuff and I thought it be fun to do my own thing.

So for the past year and a half I have been writing not only a story but this whole universe thing I'm working on. I'm going to be using the Source SDK to make it. I've got no experience with this stuff so I'm going to be learning the hard way. So does anyone have any tips on how to use it? I'm currently re-downloading all my Source games so I can have heaps of assets to use.
Also does anyone know of any good Music producing software? that'd be good.

I've been thinking of writing a review for Alien: Isolation for this place. Seeing as it's a profession I want to get into. If anyone was willing to read them I would gladly do it.
I'm sure people would want to read them. Pretty sure Angry Brute is already doing a (video) review of the game over in Gaming though.
That's cool. My favourite part of game reviews is reading other peoples opinions and what not.

Stosh is a Bungie employee who worked on the webteam. After a certain Bungie.net crash or error, Achronos addressed the issue by saying that the community should "blame Stosh" for what happened. Since then, it kind of became a meme to blame anything that goes wrong on Stosh.
