ive been pretty into this manga lately. NSFW yuri sex scenes/tons of gore.

"In a city overflowing with heinous crimes and violence, two girls make it their job to kill criminals who can not be dealt with by police."

I can get behind Dexter with lesbians.

Nobody wants a fuck up like me. Might as well go live in a monastery.
what if the monks are gay?
Then they're gay. . .? Regardless of sexuality, they're not supposed to act on those types of urges.

Ah, but these are very liberated monks we're talking about.

There's also Melty Blood Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late.

Nobody is sure what any of that means.
uniel is a different series yo

Is it, though? When you really think about it, is it really a different series?

It's still a good game.

I don't understand the whole cheek-puffing thing. Is that something people do in Japan when they get pissed?

I can't stand a lot of stuff that 343i has done to the series. I haven't read many of the books myself. But the fact they turned the forerunners from a mysterious ancient race that you never really knew the intentions of to "Grr I am mean alien we shall fight" Pisses me off a lot to be completely honest. I know that they couldn't do strange ancient mysterious mixed with war again but I feel it would be a hell of a lot more bearable then what they've presented with us now.

I wish they had just moved on from the forerunners and the flood altogether and focused on the ramifications of the war with the Covenant. I understand some wanted to know more about the period 100,000 years ago, but I've always seen it as merely the set up for the main conflict. The forerunners fought the flood, they were losing, so they used the Halos to nuke the galaxy, now humanity rediscovered their stuff. That's the backstory, time for the actual plot.

The Flood / Re: If you thought this* was the moral option

Pain is bad, but sometimes useful. Like if somebody runs up behind me and stabs me, the pain warns me that something is fucking wrong and I need help fast. It wouldn't be pleasant by any means but I would certainly bleed out and die if I didn't feel it and never noticed.

But in most cases, yeah, it's just bad.
It's not even designed in a sensible way. If I break one of my bones or two, I'm going to be writhing on the ground in severe pain for quite awhile before I'm ready to pick myself up. Ideally, you would be able to tell your brain, "Okay, I get it, my leg is broken. I need help. Got it."

Then you wouldn't be in pain anymore, and you'd be able to carry yourself to a hospital or something.

That's generally my problem with the whole "pain is useful" argument. It can be useful all it wants--but why does it have to SUCK so much?

Pain discourages movement that would make injuries worse.
