Kilo-Five was one of the more enjoyable Halo stories.

Kilo Five is the Sword Art Online of Halo even compared to Halo 5

>awesome Covenant worldbuilding
>as opposed to literally nothing worth mentioning

Okay, BT.

Try as I might, I can't see Tom Hiddleston as a badass SAS guy. Or a badass anything, really.

You're also shorter, so it's a hollow victory.

This morning I watched somebody nearly walk into traffic playing this game. What a dumbass.

That's the closest I'll ever get to having an interest in Pokemon.

One thing I've learned on the road, it's best to assume every other driver is about to fuck up. Even if they're driving flawlessly, even if it's your own mother, assume they're about to do something stupid at any given moment.

It's something, because people do not flip their lids this much when any other movie gets a shitty remake.

It would have been only slightly more notable than usual because Ghostbusters is such a popular film, and any remake at all would have stirred up complaints regardless of gender, but somebody felt the need to call out, "you only hate it because you're misogynistic scum!"

And then it snowballs, and all anybody can focus on is the controversy surrounding the movie, while Sony nods and says "uh, yeah, misogyny, boo, down with the woman-haters, give us your money", when the initial complaints had nothing to do with the cast possessing vaginas.

I wonder, if the film starred disabled characters and turned out to be ass, would there be accusations of ablists hating it?

While I think the movie looks fucking stupid, this sperging out is getting pretty autismo.
Right? A bad movie is a bad movie, they get released all the time. The fact that everyone is SO against it makes me think there is some misogyny involved.

There are maybe three people who genuinely give a shit about the all-female cast. What's really getting people's crimson-stained panties in a knot is that it's a shitty remake of one of the most beloved films ever made. As it turns out, not many like seeing something they love get skewered for the sake of making a quick buck on the brand name alone.

Basically any misogynistic comments toward the film are made by goons hoping to get a reaction out of the bozos that honestly think misogyny is the sole reason anybody would opt not to waste their money on this film.
Boo fucking hoo. Shitty remakes are done incessantly.

"omg childhood ruined omfg how dare they??!/1"

If your childhood can be tainted because some passable movie got remade into a bad movie, then you've officially run out of things to complain about.

I agree, but it's still not misogynistic.

but who gives a shit? The old movies are going to still be there. This one will probably be forgotten in a year anyway.

People need something to gather and bitch about. Though, it wouldn't have gotten this bad if not for the idiotic misogyny accusations.

Which is either an intentional bit of unorthodox advertisement or a brilliant stroke of luck on Sony's part, given how they're milking the controversy for all its worth.
