I'm not saying that it is going to be great. I am just saying Halo with ADS or Sprint is not inherently a bad thing. And calling it a CoD ripoff when almost FPS does it, is retarded, no matter what 343i does.
I mean, ADS predates CoD, but people call it a CoD ripoff, because the only reason ADS and sprint have become such a standard is because "literally every other FPS" have been doing what Halo has been doing: modelling themselves after CoD to do CoD better than CoD does CoD. You think ADS, Sprint, or Halo 4's perks, ordnance, etc... came from Section 8: Prejudice or something? It came from the one that's making the most money doing all that stuff right now.
So I, like many others, would rather Halo stop trying to take notes and aim to be the game that steals maybe a fifth of CoD's fanbase for about a month. I didn't play Halo 2/3 for an "accessible" experience. I didn't play them for mechanics that could be found in any other shooter. I don't hate change: I hate when things become the same as every other game.
I don't think what we've seen makes future Halo unplayable (sprint kinda does for me): if that ADS is just a visual replacing the standard scope, then it's not too big of a deal. If it comes with hip-fire bloom, slower movement, flinching, etc... then it's much more of a disappointment to me.
I just seems Halo is the only one who get's called "CoD ripoff" for the things it adds.
