Considering Alien: Covenant comes out this year, a new Predator movie shouldn't be much of a surprise.
they're making a new predator movie?
i didn't even know they were making a new alien movie

I suppose I could look it up in 10 seconds on Google, but what even is this game? I haven't seen anything about it other than its name.
I'm sure you have. Did you watch Sony's E3 last year, or the year before?
It does have a super generic name, but it looks splendid.
I missed most of E3 and I think I skipped its trailer because of its name. It looks fantastic, and I'll probably end up buying it after finishing BotW.
This might sound dumb, but I vaguely remember some sort of controversy about the protagonist not being a sexy, doe-eyed bimbo. Was that a thing?
I don't remember that.
I vaguely remember that, though it's possible it wasn't in reference to HZD.
I know Andromeda was getting a lot of shit for the female characters not looking spectacular. Maybe thinking of that?
it has less to do with female characters and more to do with bioware doing a shit job with the characters in general. male ryder looks like he's 4'9" for christ's sake.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/halo-the-master-chief-collectionjust a reminder that a game that didn't even work scored an 85 on meta critic if you think something is fun just say so and don't give a crap about whether or not other people think the same instead of trying to justify your opinion with meaningless meta critic scores

Initial thoughts on Halo Wars 2 are pretty disappointing but unsurprising from the beta.
I'm seriously disappointed in the unit count. HW2 has fewer units on screen than the first game and these games are a generation apart.
Here's HW2's max units. There's only 27 units on screen and it's already as max. These units are also the ones that take up the least amount of unit population.
Here's HW1 with the same units. Notice it's only taking up about 2/3rds of the population.
And for fun here's the max amount of units you can have in HW1. 99 individual units
the best console RTS i've ever played had a maximum of 16 units you could deploy on the battlefield at any given time unit count is irrelevant when it comes to determining how good an RTS is

Who /viking/ here?
buff the lawbringer ubisoft
Right? He hits hard but so does the conqueror and he has combo potential - shoulder charge into walls do not even combo into light attacks. He has range but so do the other two poleweapon classes and both of these have far more potential mindgame and combo capabilities. His only guaranteed combos are a parry into light attack a d a guardbreak into a strong side attack which is the basic combo for almost all other classes.
How much did you play as him thus far? What's your impression?
i've got him to the first prestige/rep/whatever they're calling it he's a really fun and hands on class, but completely worthless against any decent peacekeeper, orochi, zerker, or nobushi since they can switch up the direction they attack from quicker than he can change his guard stance most of the time and in the event you are able to keep up their attacks are typically too quick to parry so that takes away your biggest asset since he punishes hard with the natural combos that come off of his parries.

Games coming out though will eventually be better optimized for it no?
the difference between the pro and the normal ps4 isn't enough to justify it, especially since most games so far have actually been running worse on the pro and the "4k" is worthless to anyone who doesn't have a tv or monitor to support it
you could have saved $150 i mean you'd hope so, but so far it's been the same old shit with it since launch maybe people are going to have to wait for every game that was in the middle of development when this thing came out to do so before they start seeing the majority of titles either preform as good as or better than the normal ps4

Says you. FFXV looks BEAUTIFUL on it, especially when compared to the shitty Xbone port I had first, and getting a 60fps update this month. Also the 1TB HDD means I don't have to go out of my way for an external any time soon.

Source: NPR
But in general, executive orders are reviewed by the supreme court, and ever further, courts very rarely interfere with the legislative and executive powers to manage immigration because of the separation of those branches' power.
You're gonna have to forgive me for not accepting that as a valid source. To my knowledge, the court hasn't ruled on the actual constitutionality of his orders yet. They've just reaffirmed that there's enough evidence to suggest that they might, which justifies the temporary restriction (not invalidation) of the order. So far, literally everything I've read confirms that there are no issues with the court ruling on this.
http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-live-updates-9th-circuit-arguments-how-would-the-supreme-court-react-to-1486691392-htmlstory.html http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/444784/why-ninth-circuit-ruled-against-trumps-refugee-order http://www.vox.com/2017/2/9/14570202/trump-judges-tweet https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/09/us/politics/appeals-court-trump-travel-ban.html?_r=0
These articles discuss the case in detail and cite numerous legal experts and law professors on the topic. None of them seem to argue against this court being able to do so. I'd find extremely unlikely to assume something as fundamental as court jurisdiction would be overlooked by so many experts, lawyers and courts themselves.
NPR is credible..
i think he means something other than "i head it on NPR", like something we can actually take a look at and read

I don't understand the hate for the Peacekeeper. Sure it's no Berserker, but they're still pretty fun to play as.
i think its the bleed grab i've personally found them to be one of the easier match ups due to them being squishy

« on: February 12, 2017, 11:56:05 PM »
I'm also seeing a lot of people bitching about "no honor", referring to 2v1ing someone. Like, it's actually grounds for them to not buy the game: because instead of retreating and utilizing your own teammates, it's better to invalidate the other team for not bending over for you.
I fail to see how that's any different than: "Awww man, I was playing Call of Duty and this guy kept killing me while I was shooting at his teammates. So I sold the game."
if people want guaranteed 1v1s they should go into the 1v1 game mode it kind of exists for a reason

The 90's were so much better
The 80's were so much better
The 70's were so much better

The 50's were so much better
The 40's were so much better
The 30's were so much better

The 10's were so much better
I don't think anyone would say the 20's and 30's were all that great. From around '29 till 34 or so, life really sucked.
"They only care about frivolous things. When I was a boy, we were taught to be discrete and respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly ... impatient of restraint" - Hesiod, sometime between 750 and 650 BC people have been bagging on the "generation" to come after them since human history first became a thing

I've seen 95% of Steam reviews complaining about Peer to Peer, but I don't understand. I don't see the issue, especially when compared to a big P2P title (such as CoD on consoles), where the same problems are also present and most people don't give a shit.
I don't personally notice any problems with host-advantage, and everyone's bitching about how host migration is just a completely unacceptable annoyance (and it's considerably faster than most games I've played). Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a massive echochamber.
most fighting games are p2p too and nobody has a problem with it this isn't to say that i wouldn't prefer dedicated servers for a game like this, but for p2p the game plays extremely well
