It's been determined that the moderators here have been too lax with our enforcement of the NSFW avatar rule. However because it was our moderation that was not in keeping with the spirit of that rule verb won't be seeing any kind of negative repercussions for the use of that avatar.
Going forward I think the best rule of thumb is to make your avatar suitable for what is generally accepted to be ok to show to children. So in other words keep your avatars PG, and that's a modern PG, not a Temple of Doom PG.

Spoiler they don't have to have huge levels of character development. they just need to have something and at least remain relevant in some manner instead of being introduced and then forgotten about save for the odd panel where the author remembers that that character exists too.

72 volumes takes up A LOT of space. And looking on Amazon right now, getting all three box sets new would round up to about $350. Worth it considering how much I like the story, and less expensive/a hassle than buying the DVDs/BDs for the anime since those con you on price for content.

Spoiler What like the cloud team? They were created to fill character spots in the final Shinobi War because the rest of the main cast were already spread out, of course they weren't going to get development. Killer Bee is introduced somewhat late but he still gets appropriate development.

They got enough development for their role in the show.
Spoiler Obviously they're not going to have Sasuke/Itachi levels of development but things like the Kakuzu/Hidan arc for inoshikacho was plenty.
it's almost as if it being longer doesn't mean that all of these characters get actual development that's 3 people for 1 arc there are dozens of characters that get introduced and forgotten about

There's several other prominent female characters that are already in the show where you're at that you're forgetting about.
besides, her disappearing basically leaves
a) sakura
b) blonde sakura (occassionally referred to as "ino")
c) hinata
out of those three, hinata wins, obviously. but she's just the shiniest of 3 turds.

literally no one worth mentioning, except maybe hinata's trainer, but she's not very prominent at all. i just like her design.

to respond to your first post:
backwards compatibility is really only necessary for games that were cartridge based that have a lifespan due to their memory... some of my n64 games wont save anymore because of it. so functionally theyre better on newer hardware. its also just more convenient and you dont have to deal with input lag. i refuse to play anything pre hdmi on an hd tv because of that.
not everybody has a working older generation console though so the ability to play games from one or two generations ago is pretty useful.

i took a look at a high rez version and it just looks like a badly molded plaster head of trump got dunked in a can of red paint. i don't really think that counts as a realistic depiction of gore.
i'm open to removing it though if you can provide a good argument as to how it is a realistic depiction of a severed head.
the red paint represents blood
the plaster head represents a human head
this really isnt hard
i understand that it's a representation of a violent (and gruesome) act, but what i'm worried about is whether or not it's a graphic depiction of it. your opinions would be welcome on this
