How far away are you willing to stray from stereotypical macho shonen? I can't think of much that's good and fits squarely into that genre.
Willing, but I really do love a lot of fighting lol
One Punch man is ongoing and apparently has a pretty good adaptation. JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders definitely has the macho, but it also focuses on bizarre humor. Fate/Zero is probably the easiest Nasuverse work to get into for new people because it caters to people who haven't read any of the light novels or visual novels that are associated with the universe in which is resides. Basically mages summon legendary figures from various points in time (Alexander the Great, Heracles, Medusa, Lancelot, Gilles de Rais, etc) to take part in a battle royal for the holy grail. Desert Punk is more crude humor based, but it follows a mercenary around as he travels the great kanto desert to take various jobs.

Umm, I don't believe MS has any kind of VR for the xbox. Which is fine because VR is a gimick.

"Good anime"?
what a strange concept
I have a feeling someone like you would enjoy something more laid back and... what's the word... calmly paced? But not boring either. The dialogue is what makes the anime, not the action. A lot of negative stigma anime gets is from the over the top voice acting and action. This is quite the opposite.
I think you'd enjoy Spice and Wolf, which is something I recommend to the OP.
>recommending me anime
you know what, i like your cheek
if it's available on netflix i'll watch the pilot and see what happens otherwise i'm gonna need to know where to stream
and if it has a dub
I was actually going to recommend the dub. It's arguably one of the best dubbed animes around and so far I love the voices for the two leads. The woman voices Moxxi from Borderlands.
I hope verb enjoys his economics 101.

All guns kill you just as dead.
That sounds like some Fate/Stay Night writing
You mean a high schoolers translation of F/SN writing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cIUbofrVlk
So that makes... Three games like that coming out in the near future?
I haven't really looked into it. It's like NMS right? So No Mans Sky, Wild, and what's the other?
Naw I mean games set in the stone age sort of thing
Far Cry: Primal, Horizons: Zero Dawn and Wild
I wasn't aware that we had robot dinosaurs and giraffes in the Stone Age.

Here's a handy dandy chart that breaks everything down.
>30% MMO games
That just communicates to me that there's a lot of stupid fucks out there who are willing to let companies like Blizzard sap off of them every month.
It's PC games and MMO games. I'm not sure why they felt the need to do that though since MMO games are PC games. It's really dumb.

Considering the PC platform alone makes more money than all of the consoles combined if say they do.
what is the relevance of this
people purchasing a game after they steal it does not undo the fact that they stole it
It might have considering they might not have played it before that.
Don't be so morally black and white. People who pirate games almost all the time would have never spent money on the said games. No sales would be lost.
And it's relevant because it's showing people spend money on PC. The only reason people don't pirate on console is because they can't. Not because they're better people.
Well to be fair, I would assume much of that money comes from microtransactions in LoL, Dota, CSGO, etc.
Consoles also have a lot of micro transaction heavy games. Here's a handy dandy chart that breaks everything down.

How come I can't seem to access your user profile for some reason?
How come I can't seem to access your user profile for some reason?
Because LC
Actually if I had to guess I'd say that it's because Cheat changed all the urls to work by names instead of numerical IDs. The unique name isn't something that can be changed by anyone other than an admin from what I recall so I don't think Cheat took that into account when changing up all the urls.

And piracy also exists on consoles. Are we going to now claim that console gamers don't have the integrity to pay for games as well?
sure
the point is, it's a lot easier to pirate games on PC, and there's a goddamn many people who actively support it
so was my initial comment an exaggeration? yes but let that not obfuscate my initial, very simple point--thieves will be thieves
It may be easier to pirate games on PC, but that's due to the nature of PCs being an open platform. The fact that more money is made from that one platform alone than all of the others combined shows that the rate of piracy isn't really all that high. Support for piracy has nothing to do with platforms though as it's an act that transcends mediums. Why you felt the need to hop in and assert that PC gamers in general are pirates I have no idea.

Yeah, and almost all of the people playing it will have bought it for 30 USD or their regional equivalent. except the ones who pirate it
which is the problem
if you can't afford the game, or don't want to shell out the money for it well, that's tough--you don't get to play the game, then
that's how it works
And piracy also exists on consoles. Are we going to now claim that console gamers don't have the integrity to pay for games as well?

You're assuming that the vast majority of people on the PC platform "steal". The thing with digital piracy is that you can't prove that a pirated copy is equivalent to a lost sale since in most cases the person pirating wouldn't have bought the game anyway. This is supported by the fact that the majority of video game piracy comes from shithole countries like Romania, Armenia, and Serbia.
i don't care if it's considered a lost sale
the price of the game is $30
that is what it costs to have the rights to play this game
Yeah, and almost all of the people playing it will have bought it for 30 USD or their regional equivalent. So your assertion that PC gamers don't have the integrity to actually pay money for games doesn't stand.
