Kind of wish Nintendo would take its head out of its ass and bring back trainer customization. That's an addition that doesn't make sense to keep game exclusive.

That's not me being mean or condescending or anything negative when I say that.
I say that because I've seen things like "I'm really good at making sandwiches and I do it all the time at home" on applications before. 2468

Also to add onto inglorious there is a lot of competition for the piss easy zero education required jobs out there. Applying for those is going to be like playing the lottery if you don't have any prior work experience.
A way to " hedge your bets" so to speak would be to list any volunteer work you've done. That shows that you aren't a complete zero when it comes to working a job. 2470
The Flood / Re: How the fuck am I supposed to get a job« on: May 08, 2016, 07:16:08 PM »Basically this. Seven is pretty paltry. You should be filing multiple ones a week if you don't already have a job and want one.that's the thing, though Very few people enjoy working outside of whatever it is they really want to do for a living. You could think of it a different way though. If you want to continue to live the way you currently are or improve your current standing you're going to have to pay your dues. Same goes for anything else you may want to obtain. Very rarely are people ever handed a comfortable life and all the things they may want on a silver platter. 2471

You basically have to keep applying until there's a place desperate to take someone without prior work experience.

Let's plays are also generally considered to be fair use due to the interactive nature of the medium and the commentary from the personalities that make them.

Here's an earlier piece on her stealing other peoples let's plays, also some bonus stuff about her using other peoples artwork to promote herself without the artists permission. I'll have to see if u can dig up the social media compilation for the other stuff. Not really interested on doing that on a phone. 2478

Cod gets brought up with every shooter. It's not just battlefield or Halo and trying to frame it as such is rather silly.
The same thing happened when Halo was Captain King. Everyone was always comparing it to everything. 2479

I'm not sure why people are bringing up copyright when it isn't even relevant.
The terms of service specifically mention that you are not allowed to use another users video without their permission and that's all that really matters. Copyright doesn't even play into it. 2481
The Flood / Re: Feminist Frequency Youtube channel banned« on: May 08, 2016, 04:13:30 PM »Only not at all. If someone has uploaded footage of themselves playing a game that isn't stolen content. If someone is giving a talk on the industry or offering their opinions on the industry they are not stealing content. Reviews are also not stolen content. Using other people gameplay or videos with their authorization isn't stolen content. Using a third party tool to rip videos from youtube (something that is against the ToS) and then reuploading them inter the pretense that they were made by you is.by this logic, anita hasn't stolen anything I hate to use a camnatorism but you've seriously gone incoherent at this point. It feels like you're disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing right now. Taking someone else's video and claiming it as your own is content theft, there's not really any way around it. 2482

The Flood / Re: Feminist Frequency Youtube channel banned« on: May 08, 2016, 02:25:00 PM »It's a violation of their community guidelines which is stated to be against the terms of service. It doesn't really matter whether or not if lets players "retain rights" to their clips or not because youtube's ToS clearly states that you are not allowed to use another users videos without authorization from that user. A video and clip can also be the same thing as a clip is just a short slice of a film or broadcast and a video is just a recording or broadcast of moving images and when taking YouTubes past actions into account it's clear that YouTube considers them to be synonymous as well. The defense of "well other people break the rules all the time" doesn't fly because those people should be getting suspended too, it's just impractical to catch everyone due to how absolutely massive youtube is. Really though, Anita should either just ask these lets players for permission to use their videos or you know, actually use the money she was paid to actually play those video games and record her own footage. 2485

Interesting thought from Forbes. These next couple of years could be really tough on COD due to Activisions inability to realize that the market is saturated with modern/near future/future shooters and people are tired of them because of the way they set up their yearly releases. All of their COD studios are knee deep in their future shooters and it's too late for them to overhaul and play catch up to DICE now.
It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for that franchise. 2488
