Remember that unfinished StarWars animation that some guy made that everyone was creaming themselves over a few years back? Well the guy finally finished it and here's the thing in its entirety. While the animation is pretty good for a solo work the music blows and it feels like something someone would put into an MLG QuIcKsCoPe montage instead of something that fits the tone of StarWars.

Kind of a bad day to do this, but I might as well get it out of the way now.
Due to the fact that we occasionally have periods of time where there's only one or sometimes even no mods on I have decided to go about promoting one of our more active and responsible members to the position on moderator in order to fill the gap.
So after much deliberation (and discussion among the staff) I have come to the conclusion that True Turquoise is the best fit for this position.

I thought I had informed everyone, but apparently not because I'm still getting asked.
Due to work screwing around with my schedule last week things were thrown up at the last second. To make up for it I went and got Spirited Away and Summer Wars for your viewing pleasure.
Next week will go back to being submission based.

I was never able to play the original and now that it's been remastered and is available on steam I've been thinking of giving it a go.
The big downside is that I'd be supporting Gearbox by purchasing it, but I think I can let that slide if the game is good enough.

Those who were invited to participate are Kinoko Nasu (Fate, Kara no Kyoukai, Tsukihime), Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, helped with Fate/Zero) Ryohgo Narita (Baccano! Durarara), Izuki Kougyoku (Mimizuku to Yoru no Ou), and Simadoriru (writes with the doujin circle Stripe Pattern). Whatever ended up happening in their table top campaigns was to receive a light novel and anime adaptation. Needless to say this project has me interested. It starts airing this summer. Yeah, this should have been done on Wednesday, but I didn't have confirmation that I'd actually be able to do this until earlier this morning.
Due to the fact that I wont have as much time to get things as I normally would we'll most likely be working off of movies I already own. However I may be able to grab something in time depending on what it is.
