« on: February 07, 2016, 03:36:18 PM »
Yep. Two files got added to Bungie favorites in Halo 3 just because I was in Real 7alk and had a map and gametype that wasn't 100% retarded.
I wonder why Bungie picked some really retarded files for Bungie Favorites back then. The Favorites that have been there for years now were all shit.

I have a cousin that's going to be at the game. She went to the Metallica concert last night also. I hate her so much right now, and I barely know her.

Fisker Karma

WHAT. F50 and Enzo are you fucking high!?
I gotta agree with him.
Enzo had that weird nose thing and the F50 just is not a pretty looking thing.

Im not the biggest Ferrari fan and I disagree. I think the F50 looks decent and the Enzo is a looker for sure.
I don't know man... it's just like... Jew nose.

eww
Yeah the nose looks fugly, and the F50 looks like a catfish.
If you want to see a catfish, look at the 2003 Camaro

A WW2 shooter would be a breath of fresh air to the oversaturated future fps games we have these days.

I remember back when people said the reverse.

I'll like it if:

- Made me laugh
- A cleverly written and well-thought out post
- A post I agree with
- They don't have an anime avatar

This gives me hope and I want people to support this. A WW2 shooter would be a breath of fresh air to the oversaturated future fps games we have these days.

Now that the Kickstarter campaign for new World War 2 multiplayer shooter Battalion 1944 has met and exceeded its funding goal, fans are wondering what they can expect in terms of stretch goals. Developer Bulkhead Interactive is not yet ready to announce these, but has now teased they will be "awesome."

In a Kickstarter update, Bulkhead said the game's stretch goals, whatever they turn out to be, will help push the "authentic WW2 experience to even greater heights."

"So, addressing the elephant in the room… stretch goals," the developer said. "We have something awesome in the works which a lot of you have been asking for. We can't wait to show this off just yet but you'll have to wait a little while longer as we want to show you exactly what it is that we plan to implement into Battalion 1944, to push the authentic WW2 experience to even greater heights."

When the stretch goals are announced, we'll report back to let you know what they are.

Bulkhead has also released a new video marking Battalion 1944's funding milestone. With 25 days to go, there is still plenty of time for further funds to come in and give the game a bigger budget. Bulkhead already spent £100,000 ($145,000) of its own money to get the game off the ground.

£100,000 was the funding goal for Battalion 1944, which it met after just two days. At press time, funding stands at around £143,00 ($203,00) from close to 5,000 backers.

Battalion 1944 is also performing well on Steam Greenlight, Valve's platform that allows the community to vote on games to launch on Steam, where it's climbed to the No. 6 position, according to Bulkhead.

You can guarantee yourself a copy of the game, which is expected to launch in May 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, by pledging at least £13. Head to the Kickstarter page to see all of the other pledge tiers and rewards.

Battalion 1944 runs on Unreal Engine 4 and lets you fight in real-world places such as Carentan and Bastogne. Some of the weapons include the Kar98, M1 Garand, and Thompson.

"In short, Battalion 1944 is an infantry-based first person-shooter with an emphasis on raw skill," Bulkhead said. "No grinding, no exosuits, just you and your skill as a player."

World War 2 shooters were once very popular, particularly with the Call of Duty series, but Activision's juggernaut shooter series has moved forward in time of late. The last Call of Duty game set in World War 2 was 2008's Call of Duty: World at War.

12-year old me fell for this. Goddammit I was a fucking idiot back then.
How about the golden warthog in halo 2?
I always had a feeling that was fake and later on I found out it was.

Although for a short while I thought it was behind the "trigate" under Delta Halo's lake.

Gaming / Did any of your files in any Halo game get popular?
« on: February 06, 2016, 06:16:25 AM »
Through the file share system that is. A few of mine got popular in the community and this screenshot ended up getting downloaded like 11,000 times for some reason. I was bored in Reach one day and I absolutely HATED The Cage/Uncaged so I deleted everything off the map and took that picture. The next day it ended up being one of the most popular screenshots at the time. Why? I have no idea. But seriously, I dashboarded every time that basura map came up.

Also one day in BTB, I got matched with 2 hackers on my team that would fly around the map and one-shot people. I saved the film and recorded them flying around and grabbing the flags in Stockpile. I ended up making a thread on the Reach Forum about this and my thread ended up getting locked and I got a warning. Quality moderation at its finest.

Edit: found the film on youtube

Once in Reach I got matched up with that faggot Bnet mod True Underdog.

I also got a message from a random guy in Halo 4 once saying "Are you HundredJono from Bungie.net?" and I thought that was pretty cool. It happened in MW2 once too.
If you ever think your opinion of yourself is too high, you could try playing Index in Halo 3. The guy is a fucking minor deity, and would probably have no trouble beating me even when my connection is good.
I would challenge anyone at Halo 3 if my 360 read discs and I renew my Gold membership

I know I'm a few days late on this. He was the main frontman for Earth Wind and Fire and I'm legit sad. I know I was born years after their time, but I grew up listening to their music because of my parents. Everywhere I went with my parents we would listen to music like Earth Wind and Fire and I grew to love this band and others similar to them. My mother was pretty sad when she found out. All she's been listening to these past couple days has been nothing but this bamd.

This is my favorite song by them
