Yeah I hate summer too. Having it be 100 degrees every day for 3 months is the worst time of the year. You got all the bugs coming out and every once in a while you have those days where it's windy and the heat is blowing in your face making it even more hot than it already is.
At least the beach is just 2 hours away where it's constantly 65-70 degrees the entire summer. I'll be going a few times to get away from this triple digit heat.

Went to Dark Aether for the first time and I gotta say, having the torches as the only safe spots for Samus is pretty cool.
Having to shoot the beacons to light up more of them and having those creatures walk around with that shield around them was a nice twist on making the torches more interesting and makes Dark Aether a more intimidating place. I also like the sound effects for these shields. They sound very ominous and alien.
The boss fight to get the Jump Boots was also a nice twist as you can only stay inside of the shield that's there while the Jump Guardian attacks you. Kinda sad that this boss was super easy to kill.

When the results screen was scrolling up, I was scared to see that I dropped to 2nd place and lost. Once I saw that I was still in 1st place I fuckin yelled lmao. I played the next GP and I won every single race in 1st place and unlocked the second row of vehicles.

BFBB is wayyyyyy better than the movie game in literally every aspect
