The Flood / Re: The Ratchet and Clank movie may have broken the curse
« on: April 29, 2016, 06:12:08 AM »
The movie hasn't gotten a score yet on Rotten Tomatoes but I'll keep checking later on today.
Right now it's at 13%.
Yeah but as someone else said in this thread, they crucify everything.

I also think its hilarious at how the new game takes a few jabs at people that review movies.

I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm playing but I'm having fun with it. I'm playing as a Sorcerer.

Reading more reviews, and some feminazis are in full retard mode because apparently if you're a girl, you can't enjoy this movie because there's "no strong women" and because Clank is a male-sounding robot

Here's the review http://www.flickfilosopher.com/2016/04/ratchet-clank-movie-review-wretched-and-junk.html

I'd say Witcher 3 if I finished it. I have so much other shit to play and I don't have as much time as I do now because of work.

Fallout 4 for me.

While Infinite Warfare is obviously meant to pander to everyone 10 year old who worships the futuristic theme that all 3 developers are seeming to stick with from this point on, a Modern Warfare remake is tempting to actually cause at least one person to buy the special edition of CoD 2016.

Also how did we go from this:

To this?:

Years back when Reach came out, we used to say that Halo would eventually turn into CoD and CoD would turn into Halo.

It's scary because that is exactly what has happened.

woooo G3/G36C here we go again. also teamkillin' the whole team at the start of HC:S&D
:DDDD
The G36C was such a good gun. The G3 was alright, but I preferred the M14. That gun felt and sounded powerful as hell.

Yeah but isn't the curse basically the failed attempts at making live action adaptions? The R&C movie is just like one giant game cutscene. If it was a live action adaption of the game that succeeded, THEN it would have broken the curse.
No, the curse is that all video game movies whether or not they're animated or live action are garbage.

I think Infinite Warfare could have potential if what ive heard is right, far, faaaaaaaaaar future which sounds neato.
Just play Halo 5 if you want something far in the future

Seriously?

7.7?
Damn I may need to watch it.

Next up is Warcraft, Blizzard I know will do amazing CGI but I don't know about anything else.
Blizzard makes the best cinematics so if the Warcraft movie is a 2-hour long Blizzard cinematic, then it has potential

If it's just modern warfare, I can live without it.

If it's a remaster of the modern warfare series (i.e has 2 in it) sign me the fuck up fam
I'll be happy with CoD 4.

Need to once again acquire that golden AK-47 cause that gun is a monster

It currently has a 7.7/10 on IMDB which is FAR higher than any video-game movie prior and some of the reviews I have read have been generally positive.

The movie hasn't gotten a score yet on Rotten Tomatoes but I'll keep checking later on today.

Sadly, I probably won't be able to watch it until Sunday when I have the day off. I hope it's as enjoyable as the game.

Do you plan on checking it out?

Not gonna keep funding any IW or Sledgehammer games, even if it means it get to play the second best COD again.
Just get the game used then

Infinity Ward's new Call of Duty game was previously described by Activision as "innovative," though no concrete details about the game have been divulged.

Sources inside IW confirmed that the new Call of Duty iterations is "a video game", and "has lots of guns in it".

I would love a remastered CoD4 multiplayer or even MW2 tbh.
Same, I'm sick of the future bullshit already. Having a remastered CoD 4 would be awesome since the game is unplayable because of the hackers.

They won't patch the older games, but they'll resell a prettier version of one of them. Ah, good ol' Activision.

It better come with multiplayer and this new IW better not lay their dirty fingers on it and change anything

But all in all, it sounds like they're desperate to bring back a chunk of the CoD population that left after Ghosts

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which is reportedly the name of this year's entry in Activision's first-person shooter series, will include a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, according to an image of a preorder card.

The image was posted on Reddit and looks to be from US retailer Target. It shows the cover for a Legacy Edition of the game and states the package "also includes" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

A November 4, 2016 release date is also prominently displayed.

Although Activision and Infinity Ward have not officially revealed the game yet, a listing for it appeared on Sony's PlayStation Store. Activision typically fully reveals its new Call of Duty games in the April/May period, so an announcement may be imminent.

Infinite Warfare will be developed by Infinity Ward, the developer responsible for the Modern Warfare games and, most recently, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Activision has said it will not have its own booth on the E3 show floor this year, and will instead exhibit its latest games with the help of partners such as Sony PlayStation. The next entry in the Call of Duty series will be at Sony's booth.

Infinity Ward's new Call of Duty game was previously described by Activision as "innovative," though no concrete details about the game have been divulged.

Also, I thought the region won't be able to be habitable for another 20,000 years?

What actual reason did you have to be angry and rude to the old man? What if he is hard of hearing?
He's not even that old. He's like 44 or something.

And I wasn't rude. I was speaking clearly.
