The one thing that Overwatch does extremely well is keeping the community together.  The Halo community, for example, is extremely split between casual and competitive gamers, and each Halo after 3 has been killing itself trying to figure out who to pander to.  The community is split, and the games usually have extremely casual gameplay that people despise and ditch the game over...and then shoehorn in a "you will get fucked by tryhards" mode that no one wants to step into.  At that point, they might as well have 2 different games.

Overwatch is the kind of game that supports extremely competitive gameplay, but remains accessible (and more importantly: appealing) to a less competitive player...and it's all the same exact game.  You can be absolutely terrible at shooters, and still feel like and be a valuable asset to your team.  I think it will continue to have an extremely healthy community, because it's the kind of game that lets players ease themselves into playing competitively by making them want to get better and cooperate with their teams.
Yeah, the community has been extremely positive and helpful so far.

I have a friend I play with who isn't particularly good at FPS games, but Reinhardt and Roadhog are heroes he plays the most as he prefers to tank instead of going for kills and damage.

Good

But one question

How is Overwatch at ALL like CoD with twitch shooting and quick kill times?

It may be because you played heavy hitting heroes like Pharah and supports like Zenyatta but the kill times vary so extremely that comparing it to CoD is wrong in every way.

If you are playing a tank/killing one it will take much longer to kill you/him/her than it would a support like Zenyatta. And twitch shooting is limited more to Offensive heroes or Snipers than Tanks and Supports. As accuracy isn't the most important aspect for some characters, even if better accuracy is always good.

My only complaint is that, otherwise. Good review. Better than mine.
Again this is from my personal experience with the game that I feel this way as everyone else is different. In CoD the gameplay is fast-paced and in this game its fast-paced as well but for the most part it has to do with the Kill Cam feature and the time it takes to kill certain heroes. That's the only experience from CoD that I get from this game. If every hero's weapon traveled as fast as weapons from CoD then I would have compared it to that even more.

What's this game like on the different platforms? Thinking of buying it once my exams are over, but I've been playing on my PC less and less and don't know how well my laptop could run it.
PC is the superior platform because of KB+M. Some champs are clunkier on consoles than they are on PC because of controllers. Game isn't too terribly intensive, peep these links- second one will tell you if you can run it by running a .exe file.

It's multiplayer only, right? I've seen some footage of it and been a life long FPS player, so some more information would be nice.
Its not like I wrote a review about the game or anything.
Well fuck. Link me.

What exactly does leveling up do?
Each time you level up you get a Loot Box. There's no ranking system as of right now but its coming later this month. This is probably when the game will receive its first major update too.

When I reached level 35, I started to play against people who were level 40 and up. I'm now level 46. I don't know if there is True skill or not but it feels like it since I don't play anyone who is below level 35 anymore. Maybe most people have just leveled up a lot.

This movie was so stupid and there was multiple times where I wanted to walk out. However when you put this to the one that came out a few years ago, Out of the Shadows is a better movie than that one.

Pros of this movie:
- Shredder is an actual character and human in this one.
- The Foot Clan aren't dudes with machine guns and explosives. They're actually ninjas like they're supposed to be.
- The turtle's personalities are way better and fleshed out in this one.
- Action scenes were pretty good

Cons
- Casey Jones felt like he was just added to please fans. He didn't do ANYTHING in this movie and they completely fucked up his character.
- Shredder was portrayed better but he was basically Captain Phasma in this movie.
- Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman couldn't be taken seriously. He was too goofy and his inner Madea was showing.
- Megan Fox once again can't act to save her life.
- Bebop and Rocksteady had some moments but most of the time they were pretty cringey.
- Krang wasn't in this movie long enough.
- This movie was not funny at all. The audience, with a lot of kids in the theater too, barely laughed at any joke the movie throws at you.

This movie was terribad and I regret watching it. I know I'm late on this but with my schedule I finally had time to watch it... which I wish I had not.

Anyone else here watch it? I envy you if you didn't.

I want the "Treyarch is good" meme to die. They literally just reskin whatever the other company makes and they somehow get praise for being "innovative". WaW was just a reskinned MW, BLOPs was just a reskinned MW2, BLOPS2 was just a reskinned MW3, there is no denying this.

-Treyarch has become the only CoD developer worth playing.  When every other year, a non-BLOPS game comes out, it's shit.
MW3 was the only literal reskin. When the game would crash the game would say "MW2 has stopped working."
Really? Lol
Yup

And here's the r/ thread about it https://www.reddit.com/comments/m590s/this_is_what_mw3_shows_when_it_crashes_totally/

IGN just posted about it.

Snag the game and content and never play online ever again if you want to keep it.

You're not going to get banned from Xbox Live from a mistake they made. I got Bioshock for free on the Xbox 360 because of a glitch that happened with Xbox Live Rewards before and I still have my account.

In my case they took away my remaining 200 Microsoft Points at the time.
A few years ago I downloaded a demo for a game to try it out with a few friends. Next day I ended up getting banned from Xbox Live for a few days. I called Xbox Support and apparently a bunch of other people downloaded stuff around the same time I downloaded that demo and they got banned too.

It wasn't all bad, they gave me 1600 M$ points and a 3 month gold card for mistaking the ban.
