Because these are really the only successful movies Brendan Fraser had. The first two movies now are nothing special, but they're still entertaining as hell to watch even with their super-outdated CGI and cheesy dialogue. That's what gives those movies their charm that I can deal with when watching them.

It's kind of a shame to see this game just being turned into Settlement Simulator, instead of making story DLCs or anything like that
Yeah, I'm disappointed in that too. Far Harbor was okay and Automatron was alright, but them focusing on settlement stuff for the most part is just stupid. That's not what I was expecting when it came to DLC for this game.

I think the ammo argument is a little silly. It never really bothered me at all, maybe it was because I played as a Sentinel and mostly used my abilities more than weapons.
I just missed the weapon customization from the first game. At least they had some sort of customization in ME3.

In all seriousness, have fun with the game. The controls and gameplay is much better. Biotic abilities and such are much more fun to use and squad commands are way easier too.
Do as many side missions and other things as much as you can. Upgrades are important too so make sure you get them, especially ship upgrades.
Also, have fun exploring all the different star systems in the Galaxy Map.
