>sport where winner is determined by the amount of roids they took
This isn't the 90s anymore lol And MLB has super strict PED tests/rules these days. First offense is suspension for 50 games, second offense is a 162 game suspension and can't play in the postseason, and the third offense is a lifetime ban from MLB.

Progressive Field (the Indian's stadium) has been open for nearly 25 years now and there are no plans to touch it (yet, at least).
Honestly, only baseball field that's getting dumped right now iirc is the Braves' Turner Field by the new Suntrust Park, which is perfect timing considering that the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is replacing the Georgia Dome at the same time.
Salaries are a much better thing to complain about than a new park once every generation or two.
agreed, that shit's absurd
though i imagine MLB players get payed relatively less than NFL or NBA players, just because fewer people seem to care about baseball these days
could be totally wrong though
Clayton Kershaw is the highest paid player right now in MLB at $32 million a year. He donates the majority of it to his own charity, Kershaw's Challenge..
While Baseball players are known to generally be charitable, they're still paid way more compared to other sports on average.
I looked at a list of the 10 highest paid MLB players currently. That list has players who are either going to retire this year or the next. The list included Cliff Lee, Mark Teixiera, Prince Fielder, Albert Pujols, and Ryan Howard. I don't expect another player to get a contract like Kershaw's anytime soon.

Verbatim's hated for sports I still find silly, but at least he can respect that baseball players are classy.

As a consolation for Los Doyers fans at least you lost to the winning team.
Completely serious. While it seems a bit counter-intuitive, the Cubs losing would have hurt the Dodgers chances of winning if they had hypothetically been there instead. This can at least let the team carry their heads high, and morale is important.
I guess you're right, but the Dodgers won't ever win again if Pedro Baez is still on the team
You want to trade a Baez for a Baez?
Chase Utley is probably retiring and we're gonna need a 2nd baseman...

They're rolling out the tarp LMAO
This can't be a coincidence
Yeah, that rain is as rigged as the elections
The Cubs were also getting the locker room ready for the champagne right before they blew the lead and let Cleveland tie it. Billy Goat strikes again!

WHY DID HE BUNT?!
Cause Javy Baez is a mediocre at best player but with the way MLB has been on his nuts this postseason, they treat him like the next Lou Gehrig
