Every once in a while I'll plug in my PS2 and play San Andreas, aka the best version of the game

The deal fell through with that hovercraft I wanted. Somebody else had dibs on it years before I asked about it. Took some shots of important details so I can copy the design in the future.

Woah this is cool as hell man! Where in the world did you find a hovercraft haha

There was a mechanic in the region with 60+ years of his salvaged stuff in an abandoned school. I was more curious about where he picked it up.

Did a bit of research on that ID name. Apparently these things were ahead of their time a bit. They were a recreational vehicle made in the 1970's. Supposed to go over water, but they worked better on land and could max at 40 mph. Back in the 70's they sold for about a 1000 bucks I think. Betcha it's worth fuck tons more today, probably more because it's the first time in my life I'd ever seen a hovercraft of that type. Probably rare as fuck because they weren't a bestseller and had some flaws, like rollovers with strong winds and sounding like a fucking plane at street level.

Still wanted it though. Coulda run that small engine it had on hydrogen and skipped all the fucking flat tires out here. Probably add a roll cage too. I figured it was a once in a lifetime find.
If they’re rare, building one that looks nice and runs might be worth a pretty penny to some collector out there

After what they did with the GTA trilogy release, my excitement for GTA 6 is minimal.
The “””Definitive Edition””” was made in crunch time by people that made mobile game garbage with hardly any experience working on AAA games

I doubt Rockstar is going to half-ass GTA 6 and let rookies work on it

Well... after years of speculating we're finally going to see a GTA 6 trailer in December.

I am looking forward to going back to Vice City, and I hope the story is more serious and goes back to an organized-crime type of story like the PS2 era.

GTA 5's story was just way too silly and over the top. It has great moments but I had no desire to replay it like I did with every GTA game prior.
We must accept that literally the entire team that used to make the classic GTAs like 3, VC, and SA have all been replaced at this point.

I'm just hoping it doesn't wind up like the new Saints Row.
I know its different people now than before, but they really went too overboard with certain things in GTA 5's story.

I just hope that they can create an engaging story with memorable characters. GTA can still be silly that way, just look at how batshit crazy San Andreas missions got. Great story with fun missions. There was none of that in GTA 5.

3 years of ownership now and nearly 40k miles later. What a bittersweet ride it has been so far.

I never would have expected to get in a accident just 3 months after buying it brand new. The feeling of owning something you're proud of only for it to be ruined by someone else's stupidity is one of the worst things that can happen to anyone, especially if you work hard for your things. For once in my life I felt proud of myself and finally had something going good for me and just like that it was all ruined.

The 2nd wreck that happened this year where I almost died by, yet again, someone else's stupidity is something I won't ever get over as long as I live. I still have the scar on my wrist that's never gonna go away. Every time I look at it I'm back in that moment where that piece of shit t-boned and blindsided my car, forcing it to do a 180 spin. It's a scary and horrible feeling that I hope nobody here ever has to go through. There's times at night where I'm laying in bed and I can't help but cry because of that moment.

Despite all that here are a few pics of the trips I've been on with my Camaro. The good times I've had are the moments I capture and try to remember the most.

I would like to see something for GTA V's 10th Anniversary this week but chances are they'll just give out a new t-shirt and 1.05x job bonus or something.
Most likely that will be the case. It would be cool to see some type of big event in the game to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

When do you think Rockstar will officially release a teaser?

I think they will reveal something this November. Rockstar revealed GTA 5 for the first time out of nowhere in November 2011 so I'm thinking they'll do the same thing.

Another reason to dump the Cruze for a better car
Skyline owners in aus always scavenge the systems from Astras for electric power steering conversions. Haven't heard a peep about using a Cruze as a donor ROFLLL
The Chevy Cruze is such a piece of shit, constant problems with the powertrain and other electronics. They're all going to end up at the junkyard in 10 years with the rest of the GM crap.

a while back i encountered (and still encountering, i guess? havent fixed it yet lol) my first major problem with my chevy cruze: whenever i turn the steering wheel, i hear a fairly loud squeak

it's annoying as all hell but at least it doesnt actually fuck with the car nor my driving

so ill prolly just deal with it
check power steering fluid level

yeah, some of my friends said that too, but apparently my car's power steering... thing is electric
Another reason to dump the Cruze for a better car

you buyin? lemme get a uhhh
I gotchu

ill take that

honestly, i prolly will have to get an asian car at some point, since chevy wanna be lame and get rid of all their sedans and smaller cars. theres no way in hell im getting a monstrosity   suv/truck

kias and hyundais (especially the k5) look pretty cool but their quality is debatable ive heard
Kias/Hyundais are NICE looking cars, but they're complete dumpster fires to own. Both brands got hit with a billion dollar lawsuit this past year regarding engines routinely exploding for no reason.

Plus there's a social media trend going around showing people how to steal those cars. It's getting so bad that there are insurance companies refusing to insure those brands.

I know it technically doesn't belong here, but batteries are a part of vehicles right?

I've been doing a lot of tinkering and studying lately. Mainly what actually has me excited here is that I found a way to make a battery out of dirt, and a battery out of water. These aren't going to be voltages to jump up and down over and go to youtube and make a clickbait video called FREE ENERGY UNLIMITED POWER.

But I think 2 volts of power from a cup of water, a zinc screw, and some stripped copper wire is pretty fucking awesome. If I can get something in the low range like a 25 volt drill, I can probably use that to power a bigger magnetic generator I'm building which will be the big supplier I need to run my shit off the grid.
Yes, the battery powers all the electronics and shit.

The wonderful designers at GM put my car's batteries in my trunk. It's a pain having to remove the carpet plus the cover to get to it.

Saw Oppenheimer last week. Not really feeling the hype. I respect the source material and how it was adapted, but this *easily* could have had an hour trimmed down, maybe even an hour and a half.

Latter half of the film just rehashes the same themes incessantly.

>"Did Oppenheimer take the commie pill"

>"No but his security clearance should be denied"

Rinse and repeat then que scene of Cillian Murphy with the 1000 yard stare and amplified lighting.

I'm sorry the movie didn't have enough superheroes and comic relief for people like you
I didn't give the film a rave review so I must be a ride or die capeshitter.

Okay bud.
If the movie is too long for you then watch something else

I lost all respect for Bungie when they fired Marty for doing his job.
How dare a composer make music for our product?!

Recently watched a presentation of their current CEO (I think its a video from like 2015) and he said "Speed is more important than quality"

Now Baldur's Gate 3 was being criticized by some AAA devs because how dare they launch a finished game in 2023! Over-delivering! This industry was going down the shitter for a while, I think we reached the stinkiest shits at this point.
Having a successful game nowadays that has been crafted together by people that actually care about their game is now seen as asinine by AAA developers. Just look at all the Ubishit employees trying to dunk Elden Ring when it was released.
