Probably because it's not an opinion and it's a fact?
If it were a fact, then I couldn't possibly disagree with it.
You disagree with a lot of facts.
give me one reason to believe that PC graphics are objectively better than anything else
Quote
having more detailed textures
i may like more detailed textures, but why is that objectively better
More detailed > less detailed
why
Because it looks better. Just like putting the settings on ultra instead of very low.
why does it look better
YouTube

You tell me
i already agree that more detail is better, because that's my personal taste

what i'm not understanding is how it's objectively better

which means that you believe that anyone who prefers less detail is wrong
If you prefer this over this then you have no right to talk about graphics and details.

My theory is that the Bears and Browns are bad on purpose to get everyone to talk about them. No teams in any sport can be as stupid as they are on purpose.
The Bears are bad recently, but the Browns are in an entirely different class. Bears are usually mediocre, middle of the pack.

Browns are just as their name implies. Shit.
The Bears have been trash for 30 years

And yeah, the Browns should just disband at this point

To be honest, my most hated thing in CoD is the fact that they do not allow you to go anywhere.

I remember playing Advanced Warfare, Exposition stage (AKA level 1), I decided to see what is going on a side path, there seemed to be some soldiers there and some action - I go there and get insta-meme'd on and the game tells me "You left the mission area"

SERIOSULY?! SERIOSULY?!!! I shut the game off and never came back to it.

You play COD for open world exploration?
I don't even play COD, that was a request at work for research (I worked at Activision at the time).
I don't expect GTA or Skyrim level of openness, but can I not just go talk to people who are literally 12 meters from the current path? Apparently not. Not only is there no exploration - THE GAME KILLS YOU FOR TRYING TO LOOK AROUND!
Why are you expecting CoD to be anything else other than linear?
Liner is fine - but c'mon, I stepped away literally 10 meters. It also looked like I could just go there, its an open street with people around, I wanted to see what is going on there.

The artists and mappers clearly put effort into building an environment so I wanted to check it out - instead got taken straight out of the immersion and penalised for trying to feel more involved.

I'm sorry for forgetting that COD is basically the player being a camera-man riding a mine-cart while shit is happening all around you.
You're playing a shit game with a shit campaign like Advanced Warfare, that's why. This is a game that required you to "press F to pay respects" which we all know turned into a great meme.

Lemon right? I can't remember if it was him or somebody else who shilled for 343.

I dont know if I like that they are removing auto health regen. It's it's Call of Duty, I buy these games for a simple shoot-em-up. If I actualy wanted realism I could play ARMA, or do something productive and join the actual millitry. Who knows, maybe this will be a massive improvement, like somehow breaking the cancerous meta of perma-baserape that has become synonymous with the series.

Well I guess Black Ops 2 will always exist.
The earlier CoDs didn't have health regen. You had to go around the levels and collect health packs and heal yourself when you had the chance. It made the game more challenging and required some strategy to get through missions. You could also heal your allies which was pretty cool.

They're doing this to make you feel vulnerable and like an actual soldier and not feel like a super hero that can mow down hundreds of soldiers by yourself while taking a bunch of damage that you can recover from if you get to cover for a few seconds.

I never do it.
I've seen you do it plenty of times.

Don't ask me for an example, because I'm not digging up anything. I'll just bring it up the next time I see it.
It'll never happen, and if it does, I'll be glad to carefully explain to you why you're mistaken.

Just because I don't slap "but that's just my opinion tee hee" to everything I say doesn't mean that I don't believe it.
Do I gotta remind everyone of that PS4 download speed thread?

This is the kind of behavior that got me so disliked for so many years: pretending my opinions are facts. Something I never do, but I still get accused of it to this day.

The people crying about the diversity don't realize character diversity goes back all the way to CoD: Finest Hour. You played as a female for a couple missions in the Russian campaign as well as other Russians, a black guy for a few missions in the American campaign, and a Brit for the British campaign. None of them felt forced either and they all had their own moments and little backstories which were interesting. Nobody bitched about it then, maybe it was because CoD wasn't as big as it is now.

What they need to do in order to make the multiplayer great:

- Get rid of Specialists from the previous games or revamp the way they work entirely so bad players don't get rewarded with weapons that don't take skill to use and that can one-shot you. Go back to the way your soldier looks like depending on what primary weapon you have equipped for that class.

- Bring back Pro Perks. Perks in the recent games just feel useless and don't offer rather anything unique anymore, and bringing back pro perks will give players more challenges and more things to unlock in multiplayer.

- Killstreaks/Scorestreaks should keep the same system they have been going for since Blops 2 so people are encouraged to go after objectives rather than just going for kills. Just don't make a UAV or whatever they're going to call it in this game worth 550 score cause that's ridiculous.

- Speaking of killstreaks, let the player set which ones they want for each individual class like in MW3 rather than having the same 3 for every class.

- Ship with at least 13-15 maps on launch. Having some classic maps from WaW or even earlier CoDs would be pretty cool.

- Put some effort into make a decent spawn system please. I shouldn't have to constantly watch my back and worry about what's in front of me when my team is in control of the map like these past few games.

- And we all know this isn't going to happen, but having dedicated servers would be nice. P2P needs to stay in the past and not still be in use in 20-fucking-17.
