I was excited for this movie but it feels like every day there's a new trailer and show new things about it. They've killed the hype for me already.

Gaming / Re: Going to give MW2 a go on Veteran and try to platinum it« on: June 27, 2017, 03:04:19 PM »Some tips for Loose Ends:MW2 is easy but still difficult in some parts on Veteran. The Favela missions are difficult and the mission Loose Ends is the most difficult mission in the game. I recommend picking up the FAL since it one-shots all enemies and light machine guns like the M240. Those helped me a lot when I went through on Veteran. Before you start downloading the files, plant Claymores at every entrance. The enemy will shoot them if they see the lasers and they'll throw flashbangs too. One spot I was able to hold down was going prone on the floor next to the L86 LSWs facing the main entrance. 4030

Like I said earlier, the AI is dumb and will do dumb things sometimes. You can take over the World Congress if you bribe enough City States to give you the votes. That's what my friend and I would do when we would play. We each had around 20 votes while other Civs only had like 3. 4031

If you ever decide to do MW3 on Veteran, you wouldn't have any trouble with that game. It's by far the easiest Modern Warfare game on Veteran. I passed it in one day. 4033

He stays inside with us since he's a Pomeranian and not that used to being outside. He's getting up there in age too as he is 12 years old now. Also, he lost all his teeth and can't jump as high and far as he used to and because of that he stopped jumping onto the bed and couches. That makes me sad because he realized he's getting older and is not as nimble as he was before. 4036

There's a store that just recently opened near me that sells old games and consoles. Walking through there took me back to the days of going to Blockbuster every Friday to rent games.

The AI in Civ 5 likes to burn through their gold like it's going out of style so they want to snag all the luxury resources they can.You didn't include The Huns? You pussy. It also depends on what Social Policies and Religion tenants you pick. There's some that will vastly improve your economy, population growth, etc. depending on how many luxury resources you have. I had a game where I had around 70 Happiness(While not in a Golden Age btw) because of all the resources I had along with my Social Policies and Religion. Civs like the Danish, Inca, Zulus, and Iroquois are the cockroaches of the game and will run out and expand quickly to grab everything they can. They will declare war on you if you've settled near resources they want. 4038

The Flood / My dog may be in her final days« on: June 25, 2017, 08:43:22 PM »
She's been losing a lot of her hair and she's been getting skinnier as the days go on and she just doesn't look good at all. A thing I've noticed too is that she used to run up to my bedroom window and get my attention... she hasn't done that in a while and I haven't even heard her bark either. My dad has been taking care of her these past few days but I think this is it. For a dog that is 17 years old, I'd say she's lived a long and healthy life... but I'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet.
She was the first dog I ever owned and pretty much been with me my entire life. I don't know what I'd do without her. 4048
Gaming / Re: Your Gaming story« on: June 25, 2017, 08:27:53 PM »
Growing up, my older siblings had the NES, Sega Genesis, and Nintendo 64 all connected and that's what I played in my younger days. The first game I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The N64 was what I played the most and my brother would always rent games for it since the Genesis and NES were outdated at this point and the video store didn't have games for those consoles. We also had our Windows '98 that I played Starcraft on.
Couple years went by and the PS2 was out. I went over to my cousin's house who had a PS2 and it blew my fuckin' mind on how good the graphics were compared to the N64. My older sister bought a PS2 some time later and we got Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and GTA 3 with the console. We had to keep the PS2 on because we didn't have a memory card yet. The PS2 was my console for a few years after this. I was in 3rd grade now when my teacher brought his Xbox and Halo 2 to class the day it came out. I was amazed at this game because I had never seen a game that looked as good and was as fun to play as much as Halo 2. After bugging my parents to buy me an Xbox, I eventually got one for my birthday a few months later. I got Halo 2 and NFS: Underground 2. I didn't even touch my PS2 for the longest time after this. The 6th grade came along and my PS2 at this point was broken and Blockbuster for some reason never had any good games to rent for the Xbox so I was bored as fuck at this point. Christmas came and I got an Xbox 360, Halo 3, and Call of Duty 4 which is still my favorite Christmas I've ever had. Playing on the Xbox 360 from 2007-2011 was my favorite time playing games. Wish I could go back. 4049

- Halo CE on Legendary. Truth and Reconciliation can go fuck itself, especially Hell Room.
- One Shot, One Kill on Veteran in CoD4, the part where you have to wait for the helicopter. You got guys spraying at you with machine guns from halfway across the map with laser-pinpoint accuracy, you got guys with shotguns that will sneak up on you, and every once in a while dogs will run at you too. Oh and by the way, there's no cover at all and if you find a spot where you think you're safe you get spammed with grenades. Got stuck on this part for almost 3 hours. - Starcraft 2 Ladder play made me want to flip my desk on numerous occasions and shatter my keyboard. - Overwatch and Hanzo players. Self explanatory. - I was constructing my high school in Minecraft and had to only build 2 more structures to finish everything before I was gonna do the small details. Log onto Minecraft one day, sees save file, click it, and the file is corrupted and I lose hundreds of hours of work. Haven't touched Minecraft in years because of that. I was so fucking mad and I still am. 4050
The Flood / [TRIGGER WARNING] What channel has/had the best sports theme?« on: June 25, 2017, 04:00:22 AM »
I don't like basketball because >lolNBA but this theme is amazing. Reminds me of when the Lakers were on a tear in the late 90s and early 2000s. At least basketball back then had competition.
YouTube I also love this MLB on Fox theme. The first few seconds of the song along with the Dodgers logo appearing with Vin Scully saying "It's time for Dodger baseball!" would always get me hyped back in the day. Pisses me the hell off that Fox uses the NFL theme for all sports they show now. It doesn't make any sense as to why they do that. YouTube |
