yeah I like the Z. I just unlocked the FD RX-7, how close am I to the skyline? 😤
Depending on which order you do the URL races, it's the second to last car you unlock in the game

We got a 1976 Nova sitting and rotting in my backyard. One day I'll get it running again.

There's a lot of things that people do subconsciously when they're into someone. I'm sure there's a list somewhere but it's honestly just something you feel.

If she seems interested in spending time with you instead of hurrying you along, if she touches her hair a lot, the red face is a dead giveaway, if she smiles a lot, touches your arm, shit like that.

Just roll with it, don't put too much pressure on yourself.
Well we kept making eye contact and her face gets red every time like I've said.

And yeah, I'll just let this flow naturally and hopefully it goes the way I want it to for once.

Talked to her again. Her face got red once again and we started talking. It just some more small talk, like about work and stuff. She had just got back from her lunch and I asked how it was. We also talked about how much bonus money we both make. I told her how much I made and she seemed impressed.

Best thing about this I'd say is that she's always got a smile on her face when we've talked.

That's a good sign my guy.
When should I ask for her number?

Whenever it feels right. Give it a week or two and see how things develop. You don't want to sleep on it but you don't want to be too pushy either.

If she's into you, you'll know.
How will I know?

I never participated in the variant system at all so I don't know
Weapon variants made the game pay to win. You had the default weapons you unlock by leveling up but there were better versions of the weapons that were locked behind the supply drops and you can only get those through them. Those variants had better recoil, more damage, more range etc that made the default weapon obsolete. They started this in Advanced Warfare, then to Infinite Warfare, and took it to WW2.

Quote
But I feel like the lootbox system comes more from Activision to make money
Well no shit. They put you in lobbies with people who don't have supply drop weapons to make the buyer feel good about themselves and hope that they would spend more.

Quote
What I'm talking about is more of the sterilized luck based gameplay COD took on
CoD's gameplay was never about luck. It was always who had the better reflexes that would do better than someone that doesn't.

Quote
It mostly has to do with the maps

Treyarch is responsible for the three lane generic maps COD has now
Gameplay in one area of the map is no different from gameplay in a different area
Power positions and choke points are nonexistent and do you ever notice how there'll be an open area with something in the middle where enemies can come from either side of
It just feels like I'm constantly being shot in the back or only winning because I saw an enemy before he saw me
Nearly 95% of ALL CoD maps going back all the way to CoD 4 are 3-lanes. The reasons why the older maps seemed different is because of all the verticality, power positions, and nooks and crannies which made the maps more unique than the shit we have now.

Popular maps from previous games like Highrise, Backlot, Firing Range, Terminal, and Scrapyard are all 3-lanes but they all had unique ways to get around the maps. Highrise had the underground tunnels, cranes, and helipad. Backlot had multiple alleyways and holes in the fences to crawl under. Firing Range had every building accessible to the player with multiple paths to get around. Terminal had the airplane, the open tarmac, and the library. Scrapyard had a bunch of airplane bodies to run through as well as a bunch of side buildings.

The maps in a game like WW2 for example are literally just the 3-lanes you're talking about. No unique passageways, no flanking routes, no power positions, no verticality, and literally 0 power positions.

After how shitty and awful WW2 was, I'm gonna give this one a shot since Treyarch at least cares about their games.

Treyarch is responsible for the slot machine simulator COD has turned into tbh

The only two meaningful editions they brought were zombies and scorestreaks
Sledgehammer were the ones that introduced weapon variants and supply drops before Blops 3 in Advanced Warfare.

Blops 3 doesnt have weapon variants at all.

Well it would be better if it was IV, and Black Ops 3 wasn't such a shitty game

Which do you guys think will end up being milked harder? Destiny or the Black Ops series?
The campaign for Black Ops 3 was really the only thing that was bad. The multiplayer has its ups and downs but in no means is it a terrible game overall.

I had fun with the multiplayer for what it was.

i feel really bad for you

any girl you end up with is gonna have to respond to the fact that you're just a dumb kid who voted for trump

if she's okay with that, she's a fucking idiot
if she's a trump supporter herself, she's an even bigger fucking idiot
if she doesn't care about politics, she's still an idiot
if she's not okay with that, but wouldn't stop seeing you because of it, she's a fucking idiot

if she's not okay with it and is smart enough to cut you off, then you're cut off

it's a lose-lose-lose-lose-lose situation for you
Imagine having this much hatred stored inside a person only to try to bring others down to his level on some backwater internet forum because his entire life has been nothing but full of misery.

I finally had the balls to talk to this girl at work, the one that I asked you guys for advice on.

I told myself that it was either now or never and kept going back and forth about it. Then I decided to walk up to her since I had the chance to.

I walked up to her said "Hey, how's it going?" and her face turned super red before she said hi back. From there we started a conversation that lasted probably about 5 minutes. She's super cool too which is great. It was time for her break so we stopped talking then.

I don't know what had it in me but I'm proud of myself. I'm gonna try to talk to her again for just a little bit before we go home.

Edit: the dream is dead

Nope, those things are everywhere around here. It's hell whenever its windy and you see dozens of tumbleweeds rolling across every road you drive on.

The Flood / Has anyone here ever hit a tumbleweed?
« on: March 07, 2018, 05:35:08 AM »
Driving home earlier while this tumbleweed comes out of nowhere and I didn't see it until the last second so I had no chance to dodge it. It hit the right side of my car and thankfully there weren't any scratches on my front right tire and fenders.

It wasn't even that windy outside either so I had no idea how a big ass tumbleweed like that was rolling across the highway.
