And it's still a quality campaign regardless of the length.
There's a nice bit of side content too. What quality? You're in this city looking for your squad and then once you find them you have to suddenly protect this Pink Engineer that is important for some reason. And what side content? The only side content there was is the Audio Logs and that's it. There's no skulls to find, there's no other collectibles to unlock, and not that many easter eggs to find. Hmm, so just like an actual multiplayer then.
Same thing over and over.
I'll get more enjoyment playing any multiplayer than ODST's bland Firefight mode.

Halos 1-3 are like the original Star Wars movies... aka the best ones.
ODST is the Phantom Menace, Reach is Attack of the Clones, and Halo 4 is Revenge of the Sith.
ODST is more like the original Star Wars: The Clone Wars series than any of the prequel movies. its supplementary material to the canon that happens to be just as good in its own way as the original product... dont even begin to compare odst to reach and h4

It was a $60 advertisement for the Reach Beta.
It was a £40 game with a brilliant campaign and great co-op mode.
It's one of the best for a reason. Significantly better than Halo 3 too.
A campaign that can be easily beaten in 4-5 hours on the laughingly easy Legendary difficulty mode. My few friends and I completed it in about that time while trying to deal with the horrendous lag. Firefight mode was fun for a week but got stale and boring fast because its the same skulls and same enemies every round. The only enemies that were different were vehicles if you played on a vehicle supported map.
