I know, I remember shooting people 10 times and then they finally die with the Scorpion in heavies.
Despite the god awful netcode I still had fun.
the netcode resulted in as many hilarious coincidences as it did bullshit happenstances. i always loved when random bad sniper rifle shots would ricochet at impossible angles and smack some poor guy in the head halfway across the map
I saved a lot of films of the netcode screwing me over. At the time I was pissed, but I would go back and watch those films and just laugh. I remember one time during a game on Sandtrap Heavies, I took a Gauss Hog to the giant sand dune hill and parked it there. I hopped on the turret and I was sniping people with the turret all the way from across the map. I got a Killing Frenzy before I got lasered.
