I got one back in Christmas 2009, and used it basically non stop until like 2014. The poor thing was still chugging along, the disc tray wouldn't open unless there was a disc inside and it made HORRIBLE noises while reading discs, but it never died on me once. Played an impossibly large amount of Halo back then haha
Lol yeah, mine wouldn't open unless there was a game inside. I always thought that was really weird for some reason. Mine also sounded like a jet engine when playing discs near the end of its life.

November 22, 2005 was when the console was released in North America and then would later get released in Europe and the rest of the world. The 360 had some really shit games at launch, the only good games in my opinion were NFS: Most Wanted and Call of Duty 2. I remember seeing the local news reporting about the system and there was people camping outside Best Buy, Circuit City(RIP in pepperonis), and other electronics store waiting to buy it. I didn't get an Xbox 360 until Christmas in 2007 when I got one with Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Forza Motorsport 2, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Best Christmas I've ever had.
I was glued to my 360 for a month until it decided to RRoD on me. I sent it in to get fixed and then ended up sending me a new one instead. That one lasted me for about a year until it finally RRoD with that infamous E 74 prompt that happened to many others as well. Instead of sending me a new one, they actually fixed this 360 and it lasted me a long time until late 2011 when it stopped reading discs. I bought my friend's 360 at the time and that one lasted me until earlier this year when that one stopped reading discs too.
Aside from all the technical bullshit I went through I had some pretty damn good times with the Xbox 360. I just wish I had gotten Xbox Live sooner than I did.

Nah fam, I was getting constantly screwed over in the Regret boss fight and he'd always drop me on top of a group of Zealots, making me take 2 hours longer than I needed to. I didn't find Gravemind too bad after the Prison thingy >.>
The Regret fight was easy for me on Legendary because earlier in the level a Grunt dropped a Fuel Rod Gun with 20 rods in it so I saved that until the fight. I used it to kill all the Honor Guards and I managed to beat it easily.

I played it today at my friend's house for a few hours. The game definitely feels like Star Wars alright, the sounds and everything else is there. Game looks beautiful and the detail on everything is greatly appreciated. Kudos to Dice on that part. I can't take the voice for Darth Vader seriously though. It just doesn't sound right without James Earl Jones voicing him.
As for gameplay, the kill times are pretty ridiculous and way faster than I expected. It was hilarious to see people constantly jumping around trying to dodge blaster fire to try not to die. Sucks that there's no way to roll outta the way to dodge projectiles like in Battlefront 2. Also, in the Beta for some reason I found out it hard to play in Third-Person mode. I was playing in third-person the entire time I played Battlefront today and it felt great. I was tearing it up with that blaster that looks like a MG42.
The heroes felt weird and awkward. The only heroes I had fun with were Luke and Darth Vader. They felt more polished and more traditional than the other heroes. I hate how they didn't give Sidious a lightsaber to use. His lighting sucked balls in BF2 and it sucks even more balls in this Battlefront as well. He's a Sith Lord god dammit give him a fucking lightsaber. Did Dice not watch Revenge of the Sith or play any other Star Wars game with him in it? The other heroes like Han Solo and Leia I didn't bother with. They didn't interest me at all really.
I had some fun moments when I played Battlefront but the more I played it, the more I wanted to play Battlefield 4 instead. I love Star Wars as much as the next guy but I dunno, this new Battlefront lacks a certain feeling to it that I can't really put my finger on.
