At that stage, the five hours thing was a rumor because they didn't know if that person was speedrunning the game. Now that this Let's Play video from two days ago has surfaced and it's been noted that they weren't trying to speedrun the game, it's pretty clear now that the average playthrough is five hours long and that at least half of it is cutscenes.
My OP was referring to the LP from two days ago, not the several week old trophy kerfuffle (which Comet linked to earlier and you certainly would have known this if you had read this thread in any detail because he linked to it two posts in).
Moral of this story is read fucking OP.

A Let's Play of the entire game was uploaded and subsequently deleted recently. Apparently in addition to running at 30fps and having downgraded graphics from earlier previews, it's also essentially as long as a pretty long movie (with half of that being composed of actual movies). Also, the entire game has black bars on the edges of the screen for that "cinematic" feel when in reality it was just done to reduce the overall resolution in an attempt to make the game not run like a piece of shit. all of this is even older then the LP, so i have no idea why you keep telling people to read it.
Nobody has even mentioned this game on the Gaming forum for weeks. I'd rather be thorough than have a bunch of people asking shit because I didn't include it in the OP. EDIT: I should let you know that I don't play games on PS4. I don't keep up on PS4 news so by the time I find out about this stuff, it's guaranteed that a lot of other people know as well. Try to consider that not everyone is omniscient, my friend.

You seem kinda invested in this tho. Like I said all we can do is wait for reviews, but feel free to yell about how right you are.
The only thing that's pissing me off here is how nobody reads the OP ever. These same people also act like they have read it when they haven't and it's frustrating to repeat oneself. Maybe two days is old for you but it hasn't been covered at all on this forum and not everyone was aware of this. I will say that this was also confirmed a couple days ago as well when Playthroughme uploaded his run to youtube. I know I made a thread about it on b.net then and it was a topic of discussion in the skype.
Like I said to you in Skype and earlier in this thread, I know that this YouTube kerfuffle is at least two days old. I realize this. The five hour length wasn't 100% confirmed until that LP was uploaded however.

That's based on the time it took for someone to get the trophy for completing the game. The link I provided was based on a YouTube Let's Play which had a length of a little over five hours.
