Our "gym uniform".
It was so cold, I could feel my testicles becoming brittle and crack. So me and a few friends decided, " fuck this we're going back inside". We told the teacher who said no, but we went inside anyway.
Apparently that's a security risk and we all got detentions.
That is the stupidest reason Ive ever heard for detention.

At the same time, if it's cold out, not being outside in it is smart.
Only if it's school spirit clothes or whatever which you have to pay more for next to the gym uniforms themselves.
My high school was pretty shitty. We had to run a timed mile every two weeks until the end of the first semester. August to December, which meant that there was at least a full month and a half of the track outside being covered with snow. We were not permitted to wear jackets/coats for a long time. The gym teachers there (and just gym teachers in general) really don't give a shit. Oh, and if we wanted to wear a jacket, it had to be a $20-$30 one branded with the school's logo. This would have been okay, but midway through my time there they switched the nice jackets with thin and shitty ones that wind got through really easily. Latsu can confirm this.
