It solves many problems of the bullpup style rifle (ejecting shells at the front of the gun/not being an unwieldy piece of shit) and looks cool as shit while doing so. It's funny how two prominent French-speaking nations (France and Belgium) managed to produce two rifles on the complete opposite end of the quality spectrum from each other.

Agreed, most bullpups are pretty nice.
The F2000 especially as you won't get hit in the face by brass. Check this shit out.

In Blops it basically had no recoil and no real downsides

In BF3 they tend to use the real characteristics of the real steel guns (in this case it had a 1000rpm rate of fire which makes for the fastest time to kill of any rifle in the game).

It is pretty OP in a lot of games despite being complete horseshit IRL.

It feels like a piece of shit. The pistol grip is shaped in just a way that it digs into the space between your thumb and index finger and it's super uncomfortable after a short while. Additionally, the charging handle is super easy to get pinched in if you're not being careful and the fire selector is stupidly placed. The original model was so shittily designed that it tore apart brass casings before ejecting them, invariably causing jams and the incidence of flying brass shrapnel.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that it's of French origin which makes perfect sense.

The FAMAS is shit. The only redeeming factor is that each rifle ships with a little white flag attachment so you can surrender in style like a true Frenchman.
