I don't know, them saying "Saving humanity from itself" is a nice way of saying "we'll kill you for a better future" to me.
That and you are shown killing them more than once, and their big ship falls. It might be like the Midwest chapter who aren't complete asses like their original chapter, but not insanely nice either.
Idk we already know the Institute is inherently evil (or so every context of Fallout 3 would tell us so) so that would have to mean the BoS would be the good guy in that conflict? I am glad I can at least have the option to be hostile to them unlike Fallout 3.

S3, S5 and S4 are all honestly interchangeable in terms of quality for me tbh. They're certainly not S2 tier but I honestly can't distinguish them in terms of quality. The based gub'ner and Terminus episodes are the only ones that stand out for me.
Spoiler Tyrese's death scene was one of the best and most emotional episodes in the series
