Just because clock speed isn't a super important factor doesn't mean that it still doesn't play a role in the performance of a processor Cause 1.2 GHz is shit, like really shit. The thing is only dual core as well IIRC, if it was quad or more I could maybe understand that low clock speed.

Do you normally shoot in aperture priority mode or manual mode?
I shoot manual. I play with lighting and I can get the most out of a vista with manual settings. At least to my eye. Then if I get a decent photo, I throw it over to photoshop, make any edits I need, usually with balance, exposure, and vibrancy. I also prefer warm light over cool light. I've not found a situation where a cooling filter has been useful. The more oranges and reds, for me, the better. I'm also getting partial to washed out feelings. I love the look of old photos. So if a photo is right for it, I try to emulate them.  I am by no means a great photographer. I just take photos and edit till I like what I see. I have probably thousands of photos are are total garbage for a few good ones. [/quote] Yeah that's pretty much what its about, shit loads of trial and error. I've grown to almost always use manual mode, I like to have full control of my exposure value. I'll pop into aperture priority if I need to get a shot really quick but I normally try not to put myself in those scenarios in the first place. I'm still learning on editing my pics but I really like your style a lot. I dig the emulation of old pictures. I really want to try and get some nice black and white shots of Yosemite one of these days.

Owens Valley California:
Spoiler Top of Whitney Portal looking towards Lonepine. Those are the Alabama Hills. A lot of westerns were filmed there  Spoiler The Rock formations at Mono Lake. The lake is a soup of chemicals including arsenic  Spoiler Panorama of Mono Lake taken in the morning as the remnents of a Mexican hurricane blew in  Spoiler Shitty phone photo of the hot springs at Hot Creek in the Long Valley Caldera aka Mammoth Mountain, California's Super volcano  Spoiler Looking towards Mammoth Mountain from the Hot Springs  Spoiler Rock Creek Lake. Elevation rougly 9,000 feet, 30 degrees at 9am in August. Fun fishing up there.  Spoiler I think this is Lake Sabrina. Also around 9,000 feet. See how quickly the treeline falls off? We are technically Alpine here.
