Well this did happen in Colorado...
The Act applies to federal crimes; I'm assuming the attacker is being charged with something along the lines of felony assault, and since all felonies are federal crimes, then the child was killed during federal crime and is protected by said Act.
The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212) is a United States law which recognizes a child in utero as a legal victim, if they are injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence.
I'm no lawyer, but I don't see why this doesn't apply.
I was more just saying it in the sense that Colorado may as well be the new California with how liberal it is therefore why they would probably be trying to dodge it.

that's one thing that i almost find unenjoyable about doing a game of an established series, there are just certain things we can just predict and therefore make less impulsive decisions. Like the wildling raid, stannis coming to the wall, etc. and of course you already know how some characters are going to react. For instance you could tell Jon Snow all about the North Grove because he's Jon Snow and you know he's not going to tell anyone. Idk it sort of takes the fun out of trying to predict what kind of a person a character is.

Well Mint undoubtedly gives better performance besides that most of the differences are aesthetic. Ubuntu is more user friendly and better for people that are completely new to Linux. Mint aesthetically is more similar to Windows in the sense that it gives the familiar taskbar and a menu button similar to the Start button. Ubuntu is more like OS X in the sense that you have a dock with big icons for you favorite programs. That's the main differences but there's a lot more.

I'm purchasing a cheap ass laptop to run Linux for shits and giggles but I'm not sure which distribution of Linux to get. I'm not new to Linux and have had experience with both but I still find myself indifferent to which one I like more. Opinions?
Also I've never used a distribution outside of Mint or Ubuntu so I'm welcome to other suggestions
