It really doesn't seem like a whole lot of "will power" is needed to not eat meat. I mean... maybe if you're some kind failed abortion who's severely lacking in discipline... but shit, with all the options out there, how can it be any harder than only drinking water? (which barring alcohol, I've done quite easily)
Anyway, I can't stand animal rights activists, tbh. We already let the blacks vote and eat in our establishments. You've all seen how well that went.
with all the options out there well that's sort of what i outlined in the OP just very vaguely. being in college and being relatively poor in a small ass hick town there aren't a lot of those options. If i lived somewhere like OKC where there are several Whole Food's stores and such then yeah i would have access to those options like that fake meat stuff, etc. Although i just still think this is a piss poor excuse so w/e. I just think i have weak will when it comes to certain things.

Reading through The World as Will and Representation has really made me feel quite a bit of guilt as of late. Its an objective truth that eating meat is immoral. For those that don't know what Schopenhaur says about vegetarianism I'll sort of summarize it to the best of my ability: "The world as will is the objective matter the universe is made up of and we are but simply an extension of the will as is every other living creature so in that respect we are no different from all animals for we are all the same extension of the will." That's probably a very bad summary (don't rage at me Verb pls) but that's essentially what I took away from the reading put into layman's terms. Though I've come to the conclusion I still can't muster the will power to not eat meat. I suppose I've come to terms that I'm a selfish and immoral being that still eats meat for the sake of convenience more than anything. I hope to one day summon that will power. But if you are a vegan or vegetarian I really commend you.

it was my first time flying and i was by myself and wasn't aware that i couldn't leave my carry on bag while i went to Dunkin Donuts. Bag was confiscated and got it back no problem of course. But i've been told by a few people that doing that put me on their "pull to the side for extra screening" list. Probably just trying to scare me.
