New England
new england is literally the biggest shit hole of the US not including Vermont and Maine maybe
That's not how you spell the south
the south actually has this magical thing called hospitality and general kindness. if you have a heart attack in the middle of NYC its probable that no one will give a shit and just let you die.
Everywhere you go in the U.S the world there are kind people and there are assholes
no but everyone in the northeast is an asshole

The Flood / Re: Off to Grandma's house

OT: my grandma is probably the coolest. she is sort of religious but probably the single most open minded religious person in the world. I constantly have discussions with her on nihilism, anti-natalism, philosophy, or just anything i'm reading about in general that greatly contradicts her beliefs and she'll have a civil discussion with me and even accept some of the stuff. she's big into Buddhist teachings and goes to yoga everyday which is somewhat impressive for a 70 year old.

A daily reminder that anyone who suggests middle American states are dumb.

You don't move there unless you've given up on your hopes and dreams.

Boulder CO. One of the healthiest places in the US. Plenty of places to go, nice people and its a college town. Oh and one of the best views you can have.
Hm I've always preferred Colarado Springs as far as big cities, too many damn hippies in Boulder. Denver is just a giant shithole. But yeah I've always liked the smaller Colorado towns like Salida, Buena Vista, Leadville, Glenwood, Grand Junction, etc. They have a real charm to them with their 1800's style buildings on their main streets and what not. But overall Colorado is the best place to live in the US IMO.
that legal recreational cannabis though.
its okay i suppose but goddamn it sure attracts some unwanted scum. hence the "too many goddamn hippies" in Boulder. Certain parts of Boulder are giant shitholes because all the hippies flock from everywhere for "muh cannabis."

If anyone has played the Dust mod for new Vegas that gives a very accurate representation of what would happen if the NCR won and got control of the Mojave
I was thinking about it.
You should really do it. It's fantastic. Added 200 or so hours of playtime for me. It's like playing a new game and adds that very difficult survival element that's so fun.

Letting someone die is morally superior to actually taking a life.
How about I shoot you in the face.
I think you'd be doing a solid for all of humanity

Nothing really. Been playing some BF4 as of late but it feels like the older I get the less time I want to spend on games. I just think it's been the lack of a game that's really sparked my interest.

This thread made me think that I'm the worse possible outcome. The fact that I'm fully aware and in acceptance of the moral and ethical transgressions and still eating meat rather than someone that is ignorant of the fact makes me worse than them I feel. So I'm just going to stop making excuses and I guess mark today as the first day of not eating meat. We'll see how this goes. Remember this for me is an issue of convenience more than anything. I can't just run down to McDonald's and get something cheap and quick. But goddamn when I say it like that it really is possibly the shittiest excuse out there.

4073
The "rape or incest" compromise is bullshit anyway.

If a developing fetus is in fact a person, then the circumstances of their conception are irrelevant- they have a right to life.

If the fetus is not a person, it has no more or less right to life than any other, regardless of circumstances of conception.
Doesn't that fetus also have an equal right to non-existence?

To those saying it doesn't require will power to not eat meat. Is it not our genetic programming to eat meat? And is it not hard to reject our genetic programming? Maybe that's ambiguous and differs from person to person. Hm maybe 'will power' is just the wrong term. A moral and ethical self discipline might be a better term?
It's in my genes to fight the Romans and rape Slavic bitches.
You don't see me doing that.
Wait. You don't?
