As shitty as the human body is, I think it's good enough, frankly. As long as you take care of yourself, you'll be fine.
I feel like this is a perspective that changes with age for very obvious reasons.
But it really shouldn't be any better. Why the fuck would you want to live beyond 80? That's like the perfect life span, honeslty I wouldn't mind it being shorter.
I feel like the reason you see it that way is because the body goes to shit at that point. It's just hard to imagine eternal youth because our perspective of a long time is shaped by current standards.
No. Eternal existence is the worst possible outcome I can imagine. It's not a matter of your body going to shit. It's a matter of there only being a limited amount of things to experience and enjoy in life and we'll never truly be comfortable. It all goes back to the hedonistic treadmill.

lol hating on a great developer doesn't make you cool no matter how hard you try
why do you cry every time someone says something negative about something you like?
You mean how you do the exact same thing when someone says something the slightest bit bad about 343?

I for one would never want humanity to exist without suffering. Because essentially you don't have humans anymore, they're just machines at that point. Suffering is one of the things that makes us most  human. So I think you either exist with suffering or don't exist at all but not exist without suffering.

I think the best analogy I've heard on suffering not necessarily being worth it is imagine one animal eating another animal. Imagine being the POV of the animal that is eating. You get a bit of satisfaction from a full belly which will eventually empty out. Then imagine being the animal getting eaten. I think its fair to say which feeling outweighs the other.

How can it be a starting point when you don't exist?

Don't you understand how retarded that is?

Not retarded but confusing, sure.

Every at one point didn't exist. You came from non-existence.

I don't really think it's that difficult to grasp, to be honest.
Non existence isn't a starting point. It's non existence. You don't exist.

You start existing in a womb.
and non existence comes prior to that

Serious / Re: Godhood
« on: August 19, 2015, 05:03:18 AM »
it's stupid to have a conversation about non existence because its essentially a paradox to even think about. How do you imagine something that has no human centric POV?

also that's a rhetorical question because you can't

New England
new england is literally the biggest shit hole of the US not including Vermont and Maine maybe
That's not how you spell the south
the south actually has this magical thing called hospitality and general kindness. if you have a heart attack in the middle of NYC its probable that no one will give a shit and just let you die.
Everywhere you go in the U.S the world there are kind people and there are assholes
no but everyone in the northeast is an asshole
No
more so than the rest of the country
New York isn't a part of New England.
Have you ever taken a history class
