Many of the country's estimated 2.7 million Native Americans live in federally recognised tribal areas which are plagued with unemployment, alcoholism, high suicide rates, incest and other social problems.
This problem comes back to the tribe and people themselves. The "chieftans" more like CEOs and other higher ups horde all the money the tribe makes from casinos and what not and doesn't distribute it to the other tribal members. I've had a few family members that have worked in the accounting departments of the Chickasaw and Seminole tribes.
So no I don't have any fucking sympathy for them when they do it to themselves.
How is the issue of corruption within their communities, genetic problems with alcoholism and social problems not something which should be helped? They're human beings like you and me.

But as far as their genetic alcoholism goes that's not our problem in the same sense its not our problem if a white, black, or Asian man in this country is an alcoholic.

Military service =/= combat positions. Women should still enter the draft for emergency infrastructure labor and other logistical needs.
I wasn't sure if anyone was arguing for them to be in combat roles or not that's why I thew that out there. I don't have a problem with non combat roles being filled by women.

Besides, I've got some clip point/bowie type folders, but no tantos. That's mostly because I usually find tantos ugly, needlessly bulky, and very tacticool mall ninja. The shape on this isn't traditional and more diamond like with a really organic grind. I really dig it aesthetically.
The tanto just looks like it would be heavy and difficult to do tricks with. Any opinion on that yet?
