I thought it was implied that people could chip in with whatever fanbase they thought was worst, regardless of whether it was listed in the poll or not.
I mean the title is "Worst fanbase ever", not "which of these is the worst".
If he had left the poll out it would be fine in the main board but putting all game options is setting the theme for the replies. If most people are going to pick another option not listed on the board they are mostly going to pick another game because of the theme set out by the OP.

My vote had nothing to do with a game. Or a video game at least.
But the majority of the options have to do with gaming. ASoIaF is literally the only non gaming option.

I went through a period of really admiring Noam Chomsky and his idea of Anarcho-syndicalism once again still liking socialism.

I learned none of the above works in the real world. Mostly identify as Libertarian these days. Liberal on the social issues but still pretty conservative on the economic issues.
