Yes, rob. They give people frivolous tickets, because if not enough are handed out they get talked to and eventually fired. Cops aren't just dummies that need to do whatever they're told. They can know right from wrong. If they've ever arrested someone for drugs they are corrupt and as much to blame as the politicians that created that criminal law. And yes, their checks come from the criminal taxes laid on citizens. As a security guard I was paid privately. I didn't become a cop because I'm not a parasite. Also, a town in Mexico saw much better traffic when cops were removed.

Makes me wonder if his trolling was actually him or from the many imposer accounts that got made.
Mostly me, but I was a dwarf on Everquest.

]Already did as soon as I first saw his name. I just don't understand why people are excited to have him here. He has done nothing but the same old shit that he did before. Booty, nutella, some bullshit about cops, yada yada.
Because whether or not you agree with what he posts, he's an iconic member of the old Flood forums.
I don't know if I'd call being a profound idiot who acts like a child "iconic" but whatever.
Why are you talking about yourself like that?

Allegedly. fortunately.
Fortunately? Why would you want that piece of shit part of this place?
Unlike you, I actually follow the rules. So, who is the piece of S?

I'm still curious how to max the volume.
At least, I thought this was something you could do. I'm currently in class, so I can't exactly go around messing with the volume of my media player. I'll look into it later.
Just curious if you figured this out?

He got fired and the guy was taken down by other cops. Don't go and start the generalizing of all cops are bad. Media focuses on these stories because it's what sells. There's a tremendous amount of stories of good cops that outnumber bad cop stories but never get publicity like they should
Good people can be cops, but all cops have to be corrupt. It comes with the territory. You have to rob others, get paid for with theft, can not call out bad cops and are part of the system itself.

Things would go a lot faster if we just got government out of marriage entirely, or stopped caring about marriage in general.

Putting a dirty bandage on a severed arm. It will eventually make things even worse because it's not addressing the actual problem.

The average gun owner isn't commiting mass shootings though, so I don't see the need for mistrust.
The fact that every single year thousands of your otherwise typical and average gun owner end up shooting and killing someone else seems like a sufficient reason to me.
Which then brings me back to my point as to why you feel knives and vehicles and fists shouldn't be banned? Far more deaths occur due to these. Many shootings have saved lives from dangerous people.

Again, a car is a mode of transport, a gun is a weapon. Let's not be childish here.
The majority of school shootings and such have been committed with firearms that are legally owned. I don't trust the average person to carry a gun.
Don't start with insults. A car can just as easily become a weapon. Why is there a difference? If your argument is people are not responsible, then no one should be allowed to drive. School shootings are both rare and extremely law as causes of death, and notice how they happen at places that don't allow firearms. You can also attribute most firearm deaths to gangs or suicide. Suicide being a natural right and gangs only exist due to unjust drug and prostitution laws.

Because people are irresponsible. They have kids at 14, do drugs, skip school, skip work.
The average human being is not responsible or cautious enough to have a gun. That's just fact. Look at our society and our species itself.
Dangerous people are EXTRA dangerous with a gun. It is extremely easy to get a gun in America. It shouldn't be.
But the overwhelming majority of firearm owners have never harmed anyone here. And just as firearms can be dangerous, they can be valuable tools to protect and save lives. Dangerous people are extra dangerous with vehicles, that doesn't mean you stop everyone from driving.

The only thing that would make this forum better is some booty.
I'd like to, but it wouldn't cause the outrage it did at Bungie given some other photos I've seen here, and I don't want to tread the line of getting banned or costing Cheat his ads.

Yes, but you're missing the point of my post. That guns are way more effective than fists. That's what I was talking about. A bomb is irrelevant, we're talking about guns and how the majority of people shouldn't have them. They can't handle the responsibility.
Depends on the person performing the action. Why do you believe the majority of people shouldn't have firearms? Plenty of firearm owners are responsible. And who gets to decide who is and isn't responsible? What if those people deciding are the most irresponsible? What if we let people be free until they prove they are not responsible? Why is it any different with vehicles? Why can they handle that responsibility? I don't think firearms are the problems. I think it's the phony laws which encourage gangs and violence and hinders responsible people. Dangerous people are going to remain dangerous without firearms.

I'm making my last post the final one for the night, I've been drinking and it's really starting to hit me. I appreciate no one getting all emotional and insulting. It's way better than anything Bungie offered.

And an armed person could stop you before you caused ANY injuries. If you anted to you could make a bomb and kill everyone without them having any way to stop you. As I said, people that want to kill are going to find ways to do it. Limiting responsible citizens isn't the appropriate response. A firearm can be used to protect and save lives as well as end them. Not to mention a criminal has greater confidence to injure in the first place when they know their victims are less likely to be able to defend themselves. You're focusing on the means people use to commit atrocities rather than on the people committing them. The key is knowing the difference between responsible and irresponsible people.

But if someone is crazy and just wants to kill you unsuspectingly, they can do so pretty easily with their fists by snapping your neck. You can also defend yourself much more efficiently with a firearm. People have caused great damage in schools with knives. People that want to kill are going to kill. I'd rather be able to protect myself from a greater distance. Laws do little to deter bad drivers from driving without insurance, though, and the law itself being legal is debatable. Why should I have to be robbed from insurance companies when I'm a responsible driver while an irresponsible driver can get away with a hit and run? I'd rather just pay for damages I actually cause, if any. Insurance is really just a "legal" form of theft.

I'd agree, if people couldn't be dangerous with their own fists.
Pretty big difference between the lethality and effectiveness of someone's fists and a gun, though.
I wouldn't be so sure about that, and even so, a bad driver can be even more dangerous.

How is that ridiculous, exactly?
I personally don't feel that just about everyone should be allowed to carry guns in public. I don't think the general public can or should be trusted to be responsible with that kind of power.
I'd agree, if people couldn't be dangerous with their own fists.

Thanks, Flee! Sometimes my MPC will play a video but not the audio, and in such cases I use VLC strictly for audio and still use MPC for the video at 60fps. I'm still curious how to max the volume.
3865
« on: October 06, 2014, 03:25:31 AM »
MPC, a media player nearly as good as VLC.
Nearly as good? MPC-HC is superior to VLC.
VLC can play more filetypes, unless I'm just missing codecs for MPC, and it has the bonus of the max volume. Other than that, MPC is superior with the ease of audio delay and adjusting the resolution.

And of course, this is something that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the ridiculousness of publicly carrying firearms and US gun culture.
How is that ridiculous, exactly?

There are not many movies you can buy or download in 48fps.
This program takes any standard film and converts it to 60fps (Or 48) as you watch it.
You can't magically make more frames of a movie. Sorry that's not how it works.
It uses interpolation as I said, though, this program is special as it artificially creates a third, unique image between two existing frames which gives it a very smooth visual. Still, it IS projecting movies in 60fps and still makes it look nicer, and trains your eyes.
You make me want to smash my head into the wall over and over again.
It's probably a good thing we haven't played Halo Wars then.
My friend and I would shrek you. We have a good strategy that allows us to win most of the time.
FALSE! If it contains the dang sentinel glitch on Labyrinth I hate you! Edit, or Arby chicken wing.

Haha, incoherent. Was that just for me? Ya, the bible has many contradictions. I've always said even if you believe in deities you should dismiss organized religions. I view them as a means of control and profit off of duping people. I've always believed if any deities existed they would much more appreciate us being reasonably skeptical rather than stroking their egos with blind worship with literally no proof. Obviously a supreme being would be FAR more rational than us. Some other things that bother me... Even if I accepted gods or big booty goddesses, I'd be equally as bothered not knowing how they came to be. And how would one prove a deity? Could our species become advanced enough to qualify as deities? How would we differentiate between a deity and just a highly advanced alien species?
