What authority do they have to give him any orders when they are criminals for trespassing, breaking and entering and threatening a man before murdering him? The homeowner had every right to defend himself and kill the cops.
Stop trolling. They were just doing their jobs.
I was a Dwarf on Everuqest, and their jobs are not to be criminals and murder people.

fracking lol
They had a warrant, giving them the authority to enter the residence. He was most likely ordered to drop the gun, failed to do so, and shot because of it.
The warrant itself was unjust, they had no authority on that basis. He doesn't have to listen to their unjust orders, they're lucky they didn't get shot by him if he actually did even have a firearm. They still murdered him.

Wonders why his wife cheated on him. Too soon?
I'm not joking here, but I suspect he just never gave her enough attention since he spends a lot of his time online. Of course there could be many reasons.

Seeing as Mexico has extremely corrupt cops? Good for them.
Even I'll admit they're slightly worse than American cops, but not always. At least you're often beaten and forced to pay a bribe then get let go. Here you're usually beaten, stolen from and then put in jail.

Possessing explosives for recreational entertainment should not be a problem unless they are used dangerously. Of course you have no right to defend yourself with them in public as it causes collateral damage which you have no right to do. Also, rifles have their place just like handguns and shotguns. Rifles give you longer range and greater accuracy, not to mention greater ammunition capacity if you have multiple targets.
Except a city isn't a battlefield. You don't need an AR-15 to defend yourself from a group of assailants.
You also don't need a house. It just makes life a little easier. Anywhere can be a battlefield. Part of the reason we have an inalienable right to firearms and protection is to deter countries from invading and protect against a tyrannical government. Try doing that with just pistols and shotguns.

Here is what I've seen work best. Diet is 90% of the battle whether you're bulking or trying to lose weight. If you're trying to lose weight cut out sodas, drink PLENTY of more water and just scale back your eating a little bit, eat about 85% what you normally would for a few weeks and you'll see the weight fly off. Then, try to incorporate healthier meals/exercise gradually. Once you lose the first 15 pounds and cut out soda you will feel a tremendous amount of energy come back to you. Another very important thing to do is STRETCH EVERY DAY. Alongside water, stretching is extremely important and healthy. Water suppresses appetite, regulates body temperature, relieves stress off of liver and kidneys and many other profound benefits. Stretching gets rid of the soreness in your muscles due to lactic acid and allows them to breathe better, and also gets your blood flowing. Always wait over an hour after you eat before stretching. When you eat blood rushes to your stomach to help with digestion, you don't want to counteract this effect. Also, when you feel out of breath and get tired easily, part of the reason is because fat actually puts great stress on all of your organs, it's not simply because you're just out of shape.
For weight conditioning, ALWAYS stretch before doing anything, then I do a set of 15, a set of 12, a set of 10 and if I feel ike it a set of 8. With each set you want to gradually increase the weight. Then, you either want to do a set of three near your max out and then attempt a new max out.
Personal experience: I was a skinny and healthy kid until around 11 when I first started becoming fat. I was fat until around 18 and thought I'd never lose weight, and really didn't feel too bad when I was fat. As you become fatter you don't really notice the lack of energy. Once you start losing weight though, it's a whole other story and you will be amazed of how much better you will feel. This may not be for everyone, but multiple diets and training regiments failed for me, I only started taking fitness seriously and lost 95 pounds when I began using cannabis which greatly improved my outlook on life and gave me the will to change it. Don't expect anything easy, you HAVE to make fitness a lifestyle or you will just get back to where you were.

It seems we'll never know how big gangs contribute, actually, nor would I ever trust the F.B.I. to have an accurate account.

Camnator pls. When an institution of the DoJ brings forth the statistical fact that gang-related killings only make up a fraction of all the gun homicides in the US, you're going to have do a lot better than this to refute it.
No worse than that junk Huffington Post. You're also assuming the DOJ is at all credible. It's littered with criminals that wish to spread fear in order to keep their bogus existence.
It's far worse. Huffington Post is shitty, but your site is worse than Fox News.
Besides, the point of my article is that it has facts pulled from valid and unbiased places. The article is irrelevant.
Nothing is worse than Huffington Post, though. Those "facts" are definitely from biased sources that no one should trust. And it really irrelevant. It's been shown time after time strict gun control only makes things worse for everyone. You said it yourself prohibition doesn't work with alcohol, so why would you conclude it would work with firearms?
