That's alright, this thread is for good people that are cops as well as their bad actions. I'd just be a lot more impressed if it was actually their own money they used or refused to write bogus tickets and not infringe on others. Even I will post positive videos about cops occasionally. Sometimes I even call departments to thank the really decent ones.

I would personally never open carry for this reason. It makes you a target.
That can be true, but it may deter someone dangerous to do anything stupid in the first place, and gives you a quicker response time for when every second counts.
