It's because they've put down in their legal documentation that they are a for profit business, Wallmart, Target, the local diner across town, all of them follow the same laws. if you've taken ANY grade 11 business courses you'd know that. Any company that is classified as a "For Profit" business MUST comply with the laws of the government.
No one has to comply with unjust laws, and Wal-Mart has just as much of a right to refuse service to ANYONE. Again, the fact they are profiting is irrelevant. It's a PRIVATE business and the government has no authority to infringe upon them. Only the government isn't allowed to be discriminatory under the Constitution.

I already explained this earlier. It made finding a job nearly impossible for black people due to tension and hatred so it made surviving much harder. Slavery was already on the edge of dying off naturally which would have made things far more smooth.
