Government raises both college costs and teacher salaries and benefits, furthering the debt, completely wasting the money on their own personal gain and achieved absolutely NO improvements on the education, which is still declining because government prefers a citizenry naive, dependent and complacent rather than informed and educated. That scares the hell out of them, it's what spawned a revolution.

Absolutely agree. It's shown time and time again in America government simply wastes which ultimately allows for lazier schools, teachers that do a minimum and are impossible to fire even when they sexually abuse children, it took them four years and 400 THOUSAND dollars to fire that prick. It creates a police force with similar immunity and overpay. You shouldn't make a fortune on a PUBLIC salary. Cops get outrageous benefits, almost made me sell my soul and become one. I was offered but had to turn it down out of principle. I know the first five minutes of me being an honest cop and I'd be getting death threats and a joke of a legal system rigged against me and fired or imprisoned.
