Well I woke up at 10 AM, then played Shadow of Mordor for two hours. Ate lunch, and now I'm watching the NY Giants vs Falcons game while monitoring how many points my fantasy football players earn.

Seems like a $30 game to me. But from watching the reviews it definitely looks stunning, and they nailed the atmosphere of the original film.

These past few for me. How the hell do you even decide what career you want in life? It seems so short to settle on just one thing. I've applied for many things since I graduated college; copy editor, newsroom assistant, data entry, legal assistant, etc... Friends of mine are all working AND have relationships while I have neither, and I'm extremely jealous. My life is basically just video games. Well it's gotten to the point where they don't make me happy anymore and I realize they're not the most important thing. I want to enjoy the MCC when it comes out, but I'll just feel guilty playing it with all the free time in the world.
I have an interview for a substitute teacher position tomorrow but I feel like a loser for doing it. That's not a career. Life goes by too fast, and even faster when you don't have a direction in life. I'd give anything to go back in time and try to enjoy college better than I did. 4867

Gaming / Re: CoD is kill« on: October 04, 2014, 02:23:29 PM »Hopefully the impending fall of CoD will revive gamingOr the revival of the classic FPS. I think Wolfenstien TNO is a good example of going back to old school mechanics and also blending current trends. It did still have sprint and aiming down the sights, but let us dual wield shotguns and assault rifles and carry every weapon. I'm really looking forward to how the new Doom will turn out. 4873

So Rebels was actually somewhat decent last night in my opinion (besides Ezra's slingshot device). I didn't really watch much of the Clone Wars. Felt strange watching the Disney channel as a 22 year old haha. But Star Wars is Star Wars...

Gaming / Re: Should I buy Destiny?« on: October 03, 2014, 12:04:33 PM »
It didn't even last a month for me. Story is virtually non-existent, and missions are always the same 'defend Ghost while he hacks into this console'. Granted there are some fun moments to be had with friends. Once you hit level 20 it can become a chore to level up. I feel as if I'm stuck on level 25 because I haven't been lucky enough to find gear with a higher light level. Bungie does nail the gameplay however, and it is very responsive.

Now Bounty Hunter? (was my first Star Wars console game on the Gamecube. They should really remake it for current gen) Jedi Knight II or Battlefront II. Very fond moments of playing those with friends. I am going to be in Star Wars heaven when the new Battlefront comes out and I see episode VII.

I know you don't like me Deci, but I feel the same way. Not as bad as you, I was fortunate enough that my parents were well off, but it made me spoiled. I was bullied and called names from middle school to high school; felt like an outcast as well. Excluded from things from people who I thought were my friend. I'm going through what you are, I don't know what to do anymore. I've done nothing for five months since graduating and it doesn't feel good, so you're not alone. I don't know what keeps me going. I'm a 22 year old with only three months of work experience. I'm a freaking spoiled brat and that's why I feel lost in life, I never had to fully provide for myself.

I like how the main selling point for this game is basically "We have Kevin Spacey." No doubt he will be brilliant though. I'd really only want to rent it for the campaign.

Lack of direction/passion. So many careers you can have in life. I already have my BA. Everyone always asks, so now are you going to do teaching? And I always say, "that's a possibility." It's a big commitment. It would start this May and wouldn't end until the fall of 2016 to get both my masters in education and 7-12 certification for History. And keep in mind I am a 22 year old with only three months of work experience. Going for a substitute teaching interview on Monday.
