To people complaining about Boyega being a Stormtrooper...by the time the OT takes place a lot of Stormtroopers are recruits, and only some are still clones. By the time of this movie, it is possible that these guys are hired mercs who are only in it for the money, or are conscripted against their will to fight by what's left of the Empire. And this is thirty years after the OT...I don't think there would be any Jango clones still in service, unless they are still actively cloning. They have shorter life spans, and also they'd be in their fifties/sixties for a normal person. People seem to be forgetting these facts.

I can only find games in team slayer, and not with another player. Beyond frustrating. And even then it will still make uneven teams and lock up. As a Halo fan for half my life, I say the community deserves something in return for all this frustration we've endured.

Yes. I did not start playing the first one until 2010...but it is worth every penny. I wish they were re-released on next gen, which will probably happen soon. Despite what people have said about the third installment's ending, it is an amazing franchise. Everything is superb; music, characters, locations, factions, alien species- it will surpass the lore of anything you have played before if you put the time into it. ME1 can feel a little outdated and clunky gameplay-wise. Prepare to waste hours upon hours of your life...it is the pinnacle of a sci-fi game done right. I miss it...just listen to this. All the feels...

I imagine the user will be using mostly a two-handed fighting style.

I got poopy grades in High School mainly because I didn't apply myself, but also because I don't have that many smertz. Now I'm finishing a college course for a career path that I no longer want to pursue, so that'll be 3 years wasted come June when I finish my last year. And I currently have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with my life.
So, take that as you will.
Sounds exactly like me. And only 3 years of college in the UK?

I was pretty surprised that every bit of leaked information I had read and concept art I had seen turned out to be for the most part, true. So far. A picture of the villain with the pronged saber was leaked not too long ago, concept art of Daisy on the speeder, and that Boyega would be a stormtrooper (or at least someone posing as one)
Most people seem to think the voice over is Andy Serkis. I think the Sith we see in the forest is either Adam Driver, or Gwendoline Christie. Andy Serkis would be their master.

I did not pay attention to my classes in middle school. I went through a "rebel-phase" if you will. I passed chemistry by one point. Also failed Alegebra II in high school and had to retake it. It's not that I wasn't smart enough, it's that I did not apply myself as Walter White would say. Because of this, when I went to college I had to choose a major that wasn't math heavy. I was an idiot and chose history. The irony is that I got an A in statistics and a B in Math for Business and Economics in college because I actually tried. So yeah, I would do my whole life over again to be one of the enlightened STEM majors. But too late...
So what are you doing these days?
Absolutely nothing. So it feels like every day is wasted.

You were 3 when halo 2 came out
He claims he played Combat Evolved when he was 4 months old.
*Sighs*
So you're sticking with that blatant lie?
*Sighs*
Yeah I want to stick with the "Lie"
You're not fooling anyone. At 4 months old you werebeing fed by your mother and were pissing and shitting yourself and couldn't speak, so you most certainly didn't have the cognitive skills to hold a massive controller and play a video game.
I'm not trying to fool anyone.
I'm not even the one who brought it up. You two practically complain 24/7 to just prove that I didn't play Halo at 4 months old. So please if you are going to reply.... And I know you will. Go on ahead, I'll be somewhere actually doing something productive, and not be here to see you post as you waste your own time.
Look at you trying to back-pedal.
lel, he is still arguing that he played Halo at 4 months old.

And I thought I had no life. Even with no job, girlfriend, etc... I could only manage 40 hours with this game after three weeks. Congrats.

A 523MB patch came out today, apparently. People still saying they're having a hard time finding games. Bravo said patch notes will be listed shortly.
Also, there's a rumor that we could be getting some kind of compensation for this whole issue, based on a statement that Bonnie Ross made. It could easily be nothing to get excited about, though, because it's not hard to read too far into it and say "FREE PRESENTS".
If I were Bonnie I'd make the decision to open up the Guardians beta now.
That would just be humiliating to release a broken beta on a broken game. They should at least get MCC fixed first.
True. I was just assuming that Guardians would work without a hitch. And look at this article: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/11/26/free-dlc-for-all-assassin-s-creed-unity-players-free-game-for-season-pass-holders.aspx People that bought AC Unity get DLC for free. If you already purchased the game with the season pass you get a free Ubisoft game.

The patch prompt appeared right when I finished Keyes on Legendary so I really hope it didn't screw up my progress.
What a coincidence...I was running through Keyes on Legendary this afternoon. I saved right near the hallway that leads to the hangar towards the end. I will be pissed if it overwrites my progress.

I've only seen the first with an ex-girlfriend. It wasn't spectacular. But I guess teenage girls go crazy for it.

Still can't find a match when I play with my friend. In total we've played probably four matches together in three weeks, and even then we got matched up on separate teams. We can find a match individually though.

I watched all four seasons in a month in September. I was one of those people who refused to jump on the bandwagon and start watching it for years. Once you start watching it you can't stop. The first few episodes were hard to get through though.

Halo 2, Reach, ODST, 3, 4, CE
CE's campaign is so fucking shit, uninspired level design, monotonous tone and re-using the same locations which in turn are copy-paste sections over and over, it's so far below every other Halo's campaign
Think of the time when it came out and compare it to other games of its time...oh wait you can't because you were just born. You can't rip on it because you feel it's outdated.

You can't beat the original that introduces you to a universe. CE in a lot of ways reminds me of A New Hope. But Halo 2 is a lot like the Empire Strikes Back. In terms of a galaxy-spanning space opera, Halo 2 wins. There's so much to it. There's so many parallels you can draw from the story. Like the beginning. We see Chief being awarded medals for his heroism, while at the same time we see the Arbiter stripped of his armor and rank. Despite the ending, Halo 2 was the pinnacle of Bungie's story telling.

I have an interview at Dunkin Donuts on Friday...lel. Don't choose liberal arts kids. Now I have to work to make enough money to get another undergraduate degree that is useful, either IT or Business related. Feels like a huge step backwards.

I don't even know why people vote for 4. Or 3 for that matter. And yeah, despite CE's greatness, I have also encountered that and have to lead my shots a tiny bit when using a sniper rifle.

I found the first episode to be the best so far (despite that Elite casually strolling through a shopping center) I want to find out about what the element really is and how it was created, but I doubt we will learn much about it with two episodes left. It's obvious Locke and someone else is going to survive, and it doesn't help that besides him, Aiken and Macer, everyone else is expendable. It was nice to learn the motivations behind the humans mining it, but still I want to learn more about the element. Unless they are saving it for Halo 5 or other media in the future.

Then don't even get me started on the MCC.
What's wrong with it?
Well they released it way before it was ready.
>Campaign for the most part works correctly (though I've heard coop is extremely laggy like CEA for the 360) >Has crashed/frozen over a dozen times in the ~40 hours I've played (mostly campaign) >Can only save 50 files (things like maps, gametypes, film clips, etc) >Can't save films >No file browser
Matching Making was severely broken and is only slightly better now. >Finding a match can still take hours >You can find a match in 30 seconds but when you do it can be extremely uneven (7v2s, 5v3s, etc) >Had games wherein the first 3 minutes I am the only one with a kill on my team, usually the most in the game, and my team mates are getting a train ran on them by the other team. >Failed to connect to host error message can pop up several times while searching in a few minutes >Until last Thursday they left the option for host to boot people through the score board like a custom game
That's off the top of my head.
Don't forget achievements not unlocking in campaign. Nothing says disappointment like completing a level on Legendary and not having it pop(happened to me this afternoon).

Nothing, because I am too old to ask my parents for gifts. Can't think of anything I want anyways, I have it all. Besides a job and a girlfriend. So I guess stuff those two things in a stocking.

I watched the preview of the Dark Below on Xbox home...cringe worthy. What was once our favorite developer...oh how the times have changed. We need that Marathon reboot ASAP. I think it should model what The New Order did to the Wolfenstien franchise: Old and new FPS mechanics meshed together. No two weapon limit, creative weaponry, and dual-wielding. Of course, multiplayer for Marathon. Or maybe Bungie should stay away from sci-fi after Destiny.
