My sister has a windows phone and ran in my room today to show me Cortana.

First off, she isn't purple in the app. She's red. bullshit.

Also, she didn't know the amount of firepower it would take to crack the shield of a Halcyon class Engine Core cluster.

Fucking useless. 0/10.

Remember when canon stated that all Spartans had identical armor?

Pepperidge farm remembers.
It twas a simpler time, indeed. Then we needed customization in MP, and suddenly now all Spartans must have their own personalized armor sets that reflect their personality. Because, that's totally how a real military functions.
Actually, if you look at the canonical SPARTANs with different armor, it's suited to their specialization, not their personality.
Fred's specialization of knives is clearly evident, I can see.
Linda, I'm afraid literally cannot see due to having a place to see replaced with a bunch of useless optics.

She sees by looking down a permanent 40x Ballistics scope.

Yeah, it can look cool I agree, but in moderation and within the realm of reason. How it was done in Reach with some helmets was alright. However, replacing the standard visor with 2 optics, putting optics on the sides of the head and more optics on top of that is just plain fucking insane. Now, all that's been done is guaranteed that Linda can't look around outside of when she's using a smart-linked scope. Whoever in the art team thought it was a good design needs to be reevaluated.

I did rewatch and I agree  that it's kind of ridiculously redundant. At least its not as stupid looking as it could have looked.

*Glares at 343 armor designers*

EDIT: Fucking shit, I double posted >:O

Their armor isn't Gen 2.
343 needs to learn how to model Gen 1 legs, because their take on everything knee down looks terrible.
Fun Fact: Gen 1 Leg armor sucks ass because it restricts your movement

Which part? I'm talking about the shin bracers, calf envelople and the boot.

Damn, Linda's Armor looks fucking sweet.

Look at all those heavy optics.

Fred's Armor looks cool too, despite the fact that it's apparently based on the Halo 4 era Commando abomination.
You consider H4 Commando to be abomination, but the "yo dawg, I heard you like optics?" armor seems okay? I don't get it.

:C

I like Optic lenses on power armors. It makes them look like badass tactical Spiders.
Spoiler
Also I've always had a crush on Linda <3

This is a very good thread.

If this is the norm for Decimator's threads, never leave again.
We need good discussion like this.

I'll do my best to keep it the norm. This is what I always intend to do in discussions.

Believe me I don't ever enjoy causing drama or caps raging for that matter.
You misunderstand, Sir.

This place is over run with shitposting and this is not a shitpost.
This is almost as if we have a community here.

I used to work at a grocery store, and without fail, every 2 weeks this little old lady would come in to shop.

She was a weak piece of shit, so when she checked out we had to bag a single item to bag. Against regulations. Also, she had to have a certain cart that she claimed and would honk her car out in the parking lot until we brought it out to her.

There was even this time last year that we were really busy, and I was out in the lot bringing carts in and she found me and complained that there were no parking spots like there was something I could fucking do about it.

The worst part of her visits was helping her out to her car. She was always so god damn slow, and she insisted on placing the bags. It always took literally 40 minutes to do it. I actually developed a signal system with friendly clerks so we could all avoid her at the checkout.

Anyway, I haven't seen her for a while. I think she died. Good.

My favorite movie is probably the LotR trilogy, or Pacific Rim.

I get really upset when people say bad things about Pacific Rim.

Except Isaac and Viin that got killed by grunts with plasma pistols.

The Silmarillion is a better bible equivalent.
I like Narnia.

Yeah, but is that even a creation myth?

No really, is it? I haven't even looked at a Narnia book since grade school.
