They were experiencing a Golden Age.
Then they fired Marty and disillusioned Joe Staten.
And that was the end of everything.

There are way, way waaaaaaaaa(ayyy lmao)yyy too many one shot kill bullshit things for Destiny's multiplayer to be any fun.
The biggest issue, IMO, is the secondaries. If we took them out of the game entirely, we'd have a) something more unique, and b) more balance.
Or maybe allow one primary (which consists of Primary weapons and Special weapons) and have one heavy in reserve.
I don't know, just thinking out loud, I guess.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the shotgun dominance and also the super bright field of view raping grenades in that game too. Oh yeah, and my power armor is made out of paper again.

What a climactic final duel between the greatest of Earth's champions and the leader of the forerunners' military, am I right?
Good thing our updated ODP Defense Grid did nothing AGAIN. Good god damn thing, our 51 god damn gigaton linear accelerators from hell did nothing at all to the all the fucking alien ships in orbital airspace. Good thing.

I have never agreed with anything more than I've agreed with Joel going through that to get Ellie back.

Also worthy of note:
I hopped into matchmaking and was in a full lobby within 30 seconds. The game played flawlessly too.
The MCC may be back to it's full potential.

So tonight I decided to replay a few of my favorite Halo 2 campaign missions, and I noticed that all the preorder exclusive skulls were unlocked so I slapped all of the physics altering ones (and IWHBYD for good measure) on and jumped in.
Holy hell, Sputnik, boom, and feather gives Halo 2 cartoon physics. I juggled an enemy Spectre around for minutes before my banshee bomb blew it up. Even the tiniest explosion will send a Ghost into the stratosphere. It's the most hilarious fun I've ever had in Halo 2.
Also I looked at an Elite and he told me to make him a sandwich.

So now when I read the Greg Bear books, I'm going to imagine all the human characters screaming like frightening cartoon characters.

I have to say the Strike feels different, and really fun.
I like the new armors too.

Mine is still a place holder until I find a better one.
It's the insignia for Thoth in Marathon 2. I like the duality of it.

If you're not a horror fan, yeah you're probably right in avoiding it, but I'd still strongly recommend in giving it a shot.
