Good job!

I didn't know you got a job
What do you do?

Sorry your grandma died and mom and cats are depressed but at least quality of life is improved
Sorry for late response, I do uhhhh ads, some programming, some basic sys. administrating (sometimes), shopkeeping, handling phone calls. Mostly shopkeeping and ads.

Would I be wrong to assume everyone who posts here is NOT a fan of Apple/iPhone like me?
I'm not fan of Apple.

My choice would be either Google Pixel 5 or Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
I'm also not fan of phones that cost ~3-3,5 salaries.

But I still haven't bought new phone, only bought electric grass trimmer week ago.

But I do look for a phone to buy and I believe I have some money to do so, the only problem I have is that I don't know which one to buy. Market here is filled with chinese phones, mainly Xiomi (Xiaomi?), friends recommend me Redmi.

My internet went from 5 to 20 Mbit at no additional cost but it still shit, my ISP is close to being bankrupt so I'm looking for another ISP alongside with it.

Grandma died 1.5 month ago and we finally moved to her house, but despite having running water, phone and house being in fairly good condition, it hardly feels like an improvement. New house doesn't feel like place to live in, it feels like place where you just go to sleep after a long day and then wake up and go to work. And while I am more or less content with that since I do live wake up-work-sleep-repeat life, my mom and my cats are depressed.

The Flood / Re: What is the best VPN?
« on: August 21, 2021, 04:36:30 PM »
Depends on what you want to achieve with VPN. If you want to use VPN just to like play region blocked videogames (or games your ISP has routing problems with) or some other minor task, there is Windscribe, which has free base plans of 2 GB per month or 10 GB if you actually register with mail. If it's for privacy I don't know, but I saw people complaining on Windscribe, because it's in Canada and it also logs what you do on network it seems.
I basically just want to block my ISP from seeing what I'm doing.
If you only browse internet, then probably Tor is enough to hide you from ISP.
No, my friend has a large collection of movies and shows to send to me.
Actually I'm wrong, Tor doesn't hide you from ISP, it hides you from website owners and such. So VPNs, the problem with them is that free VPNs I know of limit bandwidth and I don't know much VPNs.
