What bothers me is that Hong Kong is part of China, yet its people seem to have a different set of rights and beliefs than the rest of the country. Why can't the rest of that country be more like that city?

How far off are we from bringing in more traffic than Bungie.net? That's the only thing I want to happen.

I was born in 91, but from what I remember, family and friends use to be close and would do fun things often with each other. The outdoors seemed inviting and friendly, not so much of any of that now.

Long as they have to follow the "no smoking" laws/signs that tobacco users have to follow, I don't really care. I'd rather not deal with any of that second hand smoke BS.
That Cannabis skunk smell is amazing though. And when I smell regular dead skunk, my head perks up and I am searching the horizon for the source.. hoping its the green, natural goodness. xD.. Camnator.. I know you've done this too! Only against the possibility of a person showing up high to work
Depending on the job, it could make that worker more productive. If its general manual labor like landscaping, moving boxes, loading and unloading items onto or off of shelves. Course you wouldn't want a stoned doctor or police officer... actually, a stoned police officer would be hilarious to see

God damn, Activision makes my blood boil. I'd say they could even be worse than EA.
It's starting to look that way, isn't it?

Least over here, they can be properly moderated. No spamming Destiny gaming related stuff in the Flood forum or Serious forum.

Poor child :/.. Hard to say. If the mental state for its future looked really bad, I would feel it would be the humane thing to do. No one should have to live as a mental vegetable in this cruel world.

Which of you Pro-Common Core people actually sit in a Elementary/High School environment and see how Common Core actually plays out?

They'd fight for our freedoms.
Our freedoms haven't been in danger since WWII
TAHNK YOU! I've been saying this for a LONG time. I was waiting for someone to say this.

Assisted suicide should be allowed AFTER all other humane methods have failed.

The teacher I work with (Who is a math lover by the way) also detests this course math has taken. We were talking about these number lines, graphs and other mobo jumbo yesterday.

. They are not challenging, and it feels idiotic to do "group assignments" just to deal with the fact that the other person will fuck up things and whatever happens I will have to gather the pieces to put things back together.
When I was in High School and had these group projects.. I told the group.. Don't do anything! I'll do it all and I won't fuck up your grade. They listened and we'd usually walk away with a mid 90 at worst. I have trust issues when it comes to relying on others.

I just bought the Season pass for $6 with Deals with Gold.. 9 maps for $6? Never thought I'd see an actual good deal. If you have Titanfall, but haven't picked up that deal, you should if you even only remotely enjoyed Titanfall.

The thing I don't like about Common Core.. is we should be striving for the most efficient and simple way on solving a mathematical problem. I've seen that number line crap (or however the teacher is trying to present it) in action and thinking to myself, "That takes twice as long to get the same answer as just stating 30+5 is 35"
don't be a teacher, dude. you don't know what you're talking about.
Trust me, I'm not going to be one and I don't want kids either. Do you even work in a school, in a classroom on a daily basis to know what's really going on though? I don't think I provided a clear enough example to explain my concern I guess, but when a teacher spends 2 hours on the math subject with the class.. there is a serious problem. Science, Social Studies, Art, even our Technology time is 30 minutes or less on a weekly basis. How wrong is that?

Despite not believing in a magic guy, I give my compliments to this Pope. He is actually trying to unite different people with different beliefs. So they will at least fight less about faith.

Is there such a thing as informed idiots? A lot of these people who are in support of Common Core, with no questions ask, either don't have a child, or even work in a school environment to know how the stuff really plays out. Why is the teacher spending nearly two hours each day lecturing in math? When I sat in a math class.. it was 40 minutes lecture and 20 minutes doing the assignment.
