And put that child into debt before it is even born? That's pretty cruel.

You're hanging out at the mall with your mom/sister/girlfriend, and I walk up to her and call her a dick-gargling whore. Do you respond by kindly thanking me for using my right to express myself?
I'd probably laugh because of the sheer randomness. Then I'd probably say something like, "Why are you projecting your own fantasy onto someone else?"

Did you happen to contradict Predator or offend his delicate funds sensibilities in any way?

If so he'll comb through your posts and threads looking for an excuse to ban you.

The only other thing I can think of are the new mods that kind if have a thing against the flood.
Nope

I stay away from the mods, except Recon.
Recon was awesome, the only mod I'd take a bullet for.

I treat the girls at my work equally. When we do our exercises, such as push ups.. Girly push ups are not allowed. Everyone is fully capable of doing a standard regular push up I say and everyone is going to do it.

Then the machines come off. What then?

An ideal society for me is one free of illusion.
Where people don't numb themselves to the world around them.
Sucks, but you kind of have to. Otherwise, it'll drive you insane that you can't do anything to fix the problems of society, because society wakes up like a 7 year old does when they have to go to school. VERY slowly!

Obviously, because I'm the one paying for them.
That's usually how health, home, and auto insurance work though...
Home and auto aren't socialized in a liberal cop out effort to end human suffering prematurely, even though they're not ending human suffering, they're just pushing it onto other people.
But Romney is a Republican...
Romney was just another self-interested politician
So true! He's an  obvious Sociopath too:

The number of Americans struggling to pay medical bills fell last year for the first time in nearly a decade -- the latest sign that Obamacare is making health care more affordable.

Sixty-four million people, or approximately 35 percent of the U.S. population, said they had trouble paying bills or were stuck paying off medical debt in the past year, according to a new survey by the Commonwealth Fund released on Thursday. That was down from 75 million people, or 41 percent of the population, in 2012. This marks the first time that figure has fallen since 2005, when Commonwealth started keeping track.

Well that's some progress.
Really? I've paid nearly $2 grand in medical expenses last year. I make only $8k a year.. Didn't feel cheaper to me.

The teleporter will take apart your current form and reconstruct you somewhere in New Zealand. You are reconstructed perfectly, even down to the spin of each atom. The only thing different about you is that you are made of new atoms.

Do you step into the machine?
Am I still me? Or will it be a different me? :P If I am still the same consciousness.. I would love to visit New Zealand.

People discover the Flood and look back at all we've done and use it as a reference to how people acted in the early 21st century.
They would learn the truth to how fucked up things really were.

« on: January 15, 2015, 08:36:44 AM »
I used to think I was smart but I'm more "slightly above average".

No matter how smart you are there is still someone more intelligent out there. I like to remind myself of that when someone is being incredibly stupid in front of me, to remain humble.
Truly a wise person.

Jedi religion. One of the only religions I would actually want to wear a kick ass robe for.

I'll make fun of whatever I want. If the muslims are getting their turban in a bind, they should learn to be more mature about it and grow up. Live a little, laugh. I'm sure Jesus would be rolling on the floor laughing about the many jokes about him.

I know that I am far wiser than a lot of people who are more "Intelligent" than I. They can spew out memorized information far more efficiently than myself, but I can leave their mind blown and torn to pieces with my Philosophy skills.

Summary

Based on the current scientific research, there is no definitively proven "safe" way of inhaling marijuana (smoke or vapor).
Inhaling marijuana smoke in the long-term is likely to result in damage to the respiratory tract.
Smoking both marijuana and tobacco increases the risk of damage from both substances.
While marijuana smoke contains carcinogens, research about the association between marijuana smoking and cancer is limited and conflicting. The same is true for other lung-related diseases.
Marijuana smoking does appear to increase cough, sputum production, airway inflammation, and wheeze.
Using a water pipe or bong does nothing to reduce exposure to tar and carcinogens in marijuana smoke; using a vaporizer may reduce the harm associated with smoking marijuana, however vaporizers may carry their own risks and more research is needed.
Oral administration of marijuana (“edibles”) is one way to eradicate the risk of marijuana smoke on the lungs, but carries with it its own challenges.

Vaporizing is completely safe.
The damage to the lungs from smoked cannabis is insignificant and easily reversible and avoided.
Cannabis cures cancer.
What challenges do edibles have?

Try reading the article.

Eating marijuana ("edibles") is perhaps a more obvious means to reduce the respiratory effects when using the drug. Oral administration carries its own challenges, however, as it typically takes longer for the effects of the drug to appear (30–60 minutes compared to seconds), making it more difficult to monitor dose and increasing the risk of overdose. Additionally, the effects last longer than some users prefer (Grotenhermen, 2001). That said, overdosing on marijuana is rare and most likely to happen to naïve users. A marijuana overdose can trigger acute anxiety or panic, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, and additional problems. - See more at: http://adai.uw.edu/marijuana/factsheets/respiratoryeffects.htm#sthash.AWh86UQM.FvJlvjV3.dpuf
I thought an overdose's end result was death? Cannabis makes you fall asleep if you are "Overdosing" on it.
