2 weeks notice?
Pfffft, my manager fired me 2 days into the 2 weeks I had left. On the bright side, I now work a better job, better pay too.
The job you were working as a sandwich maker? Why did you get fired?
I got a call from a place that I put in my resume a month ago.
I went there for an interview, the told me they'd call me back.
On the way back home, they call me, telling me I got the job.
I tell the main manager, that I'm going to put in my 2 weeks notice, mind you, I don't know when I start working at this point.
The next day, I do the orientation, I get a schedule, and see they're putting me too work in 2 days.
I tell my manager about it, he gets annoyed, and eventually tells me, if I want to leave in his good graces(so he won't talk shit about me when a future employer calls), I'm going to have to continue working for the 2 week period. He would work around for my schedule, so I could work at both place.
Next day I tell him the exact hours I work at my new job, since I told him the wrong times the day before.
He suddenly gets pissy, saying he doesn't want to deal with my drama(there was none) and despite the fact he was willing to work with my schedule the day before, he decided to fire me.
What a white man, don't let the white man put you down.
He was a Mexican.

Center mass(Torso) actually. Aiming for the head could make you appear to be an assassin or someone with malice intentions. You're suppose to shoot to incapacitate or end a dangerous/lethal threat. If they die because of it, its not your fault. But going up and shooting even the criminal in the face could put you in a bad spot light. Or so I've been told.
Not really. You aim center mass in a combat/defense situation for one main reason, which is as follows: good luck hitting anything else. Statistically, if a policeman was to fire six rounds in quick succession at an assaulting target only two would strike. This is due to a combination of factors, ranging from your handgun itself, your shooting skills, the adrenaline in your body, and the rapid firing of your weapon until the threat is incapacitated.
If lethal force is required, you need to be able to hit, not miss a bunch of headshot attempts and send stray bullets everywhere.

Now, I'm a decently pro-gun control advocate. I don't mind gun ownership in and of itself. I've heard that police in Europe don't carry guns which, quite frankly, does sound a bit... well, I don't really know how an officer of the law is supposed to carry out their duty without a gun.

Wow. How many Officers does it take to take one guy down with a big blade? About a dozen and a half.. lol.. Does they even have tasers? Meanwhile in America.. single Officer responds to similar situation.. guy either drops it, is tasered and cuffed or is gunned down after being warned MORE than once.. Situation defused in less than 45 seconds and used far less police resources.
