The doctor lost his career and was essentialy labled 'Supreme High Emperor of the Sick Fucks' by eveyone outside the tarnsexual community, and the kid's life was destroyed to the point he later killed himself That's interesting and all, but that really doesn't have much to do with anything regarding this subject. Did the experiment itself produce results, or was it just a complete disaster from the start? Because if it was, it doesn't really bear mention.
Seing as the experement failed because of the fact that the boy realised he was exactly that, and knew something was wrong for the longest time, yeah, i'd say that was one hell of a result.

I do think someone becoming transgender PURELY for publicity is just......insane.
So I'm leaning towards this not being just a publicity stunt since it's such a radical change for the person.
I'll admit that in the first few months I did think it was all just a publicity stunt, especially coming from the Kardashians. It drove me nuts every time I saw people talking about it and it seemed as far from genuine as possible. But when the interview came out and I finally caved in and watched it, I realized that I was wrong. It's genuine.
The Kardashians are still taking advantage of the publicity though, because well...that's what they do.
If anything, Bruce (now Caitlyn) simply got grouped with the rest of the family as doing it for publicity.
Not It's fault, but that's just how it looks from the outside for most people.
