Egg missions have always been the worst in Monster Hunter, and nobody even knows at this point why they even put them in. But at least in this game you have a pretty simple solution now to just to use the ghillie mantle instead of wasting half an hour killing the monster only to have another one spawn in almost immediately.

Concering one of the late game monsters Spoiler Vaal Hazak is the worst mosnter in the game period
-Light weapons make him about as hard as drinking water
-Next to impossible for heavy weapons without quicksheath
-The gas mechanic is fucking retarded and does nothing but force you to chug a bunch of nullberries and potions against a monster that would have no chance in hell of hurting you otherwise

On a serious note though I totally get why that one irks you. While he's certainly right that MW2 was devinitively were we saw the series begin change from a more serious and grounded series into the Micheal Bay-esque popcorn action fuckfest that it's known for being today, to say that MW2 "didn't work" is just plain wrong, because it did what it did exceptionally well. It's still a glorious clusterfuck though.

This game's online is actually worse than Master Chief Collection and Battlefeild 4 combined
i've never actually had a problem with the online. the lobby stuff is super funky, but the actual playing the game part seems fine.
Multiplayer breaks for me consistently leaving me to deal with this one quest that was already fucking impossible but with the health now trippled permanantly and no way to get help again
